Come face-to-face with Catalina’s abundant marine life by cruising five feet under water in a spacious, climate-controlled cabin. Or, come back for the nighttime version and we’ll introduce you to a whole other world that only comes out after dark.As we feed the fish from our semi-submersible vessels, you’ll see a wide array of undersea dwellers: bright orange garibaldi, spotted calico bass, urchins, rockfish and bat rays, just to name a few. This is more than a tour; it’s an undersea adventure.A colorful Fish Finder Guide and souvenir button are included with each ticket purchase. Advance reservations are recommended.

The boat ride was very comfortable and the crew was very friendly and helpful. The underwater views of the fishes feeding was amazing. I wasn't too excited about this trip to begin with, so I was extremely please with the end result. the ride back to to the docks was also very nice.

If you are visiting Avalon and Catalina Island take the time to do the Glass Bottom Boat or the Submarine Tour to see the inhabitants of Lover's Cove up close and personal. I prefer the sub because you are looking through a porthole and the fish come to the windows because they are being fed! The tour meets on the... More

This trip was very enjoyable. We saw a lot of fish and underwater plants. The guides feed the fish and wow do they ever come to the boat. Schools galore.

This was a fun adventure where we saw a "lot" of magnified fish (windows will magnify them). However, there were mainly Garibaldi and a few other fish seen. This boat goes to Lovers Cove and the shipmate will feed the fish once you get there so they KNOW to swim up to the submarine. The tour is only about 45... More

Ride takes you out to endangered kelp reef where fish are fed and schools and schools surround the vessel. Lasts about 1/2 hour..costs $30.00 for adult. Great trip for kids.

This trip was so much more than I expected! Once we got on the boat, while still docked in the harbor we were thrilled to see bass and perch surrounding our boat. We were lucky enough that no one else signed up for the tour (it's still early in the season and midweek), so we could move around to see... More

I am so glad I did the submarine adventure. So many fish to see, swimming through the kelp forests and alongside the vessel. They swim right up to the big windows. Definitely the highlight of my vacation. Awesome!

We wouldn't have taken this tour for ourselves, being experienced snorkelers (think Hawaii and the Caribbean), but did it for our soon-to-be 12 year old granddaughter. She loved it! Good views out the portholes of this semi-submersible boat that, after setting the tone with some canned video and intercom reports (like an amusement park ride), took a slow cruise to... More

There are two undersea adventures. The one we took, the crew fed the fish. We heard that on one they sell you food for $6.00. It was fantastic. The fish were everywhere. We saw mainly opal eyes and bass and a few girabaldi here and there. The colors of the kelp, etc were beautiful. You can see way more than... More
