I've always wanted to try riding a Segway, but I've always been a little hesitant. I'm 64 and my wife is 65. We're in good shape, but I imagined not being able to really control the Segway and holding the group back, or making a fool of myself by being out of control. Then we went to Catalina with my... Pablo, our tour guide spent time showing us how to operate the segways. We had never been on a segway so he showed a wonderful sense of humor and an amazing amount of patience while we learned how to operate the machine. We took a nice tour of the harbor and then proceeded up into the canyon to look around.... More

So cool! This was the first time anyone in my family had been on a segway. Normally we can't agree on anything, but we all had a fantastic time on the Avalon tour! Operating he segway was actually much easier than you would think, almost like it's reading your mind. The guide was a bit rude but I would still... More

This was our first Segway tour anywhere. The guide was helpful, knowledgeable, and had a good personality. We did the 1 1/2 hour hill tour that takes you out and above the town. You get to see some very nice houses, the Eco Zip Line, look down on Descanso Beach and the Casino, and then back into town. It was... More

Loved the Segway experience. We rented for a couple of hours and took the tour up to the Wrigley Memorial with a few stops along the way at other sites of interest. After first giving us a lesson on using the Segways, our guide took us on a fun filled ride up to the Wrigley Memorial. Our guide was very... More

We took the tour as part of package deal and off season it was only my wife and I which made it even more fun. Never having been on a Segway before didn't matter, the staff took the time to make sure we were comfortable on the machines before hitting the road. Once on the road our guide Dan made... More

I have taken Segway tours in other cities and have always really enjoyed them. This tour, the guide was very informative but the sites were a bit boring. Should have taken us to more sites.

Grandma, grandpa, grandson and friend (12, 13) took the 1.5 hour tour. It was not so much about the sights, but riding the segways. A lot of fun and easy. The kids only talked about going back again.

Was so excited when i read there was an Extreme Offroad Segway tour and we were not disappointed. It was just the two of us and the tour was lead by the owner Joe. He gave us a personnel history tour of the island and more importantly led us down some fun trails. I have ridden on a segway multiple... More

This was a bucket list item for us and it did not disappoint. After a few minutes of practice it was super easy and was even more fun than it looks. We drove up past the golf course to the botanical gardens then went off-road heading back towards the beach. The views are incredible, the scent of sage was great... More
