Very quaint place with beautiful surroundings. Wish it was more green around. All the trails are perfect for family and pets.

This is a beautiful place to hike for 20 minutes. The view will take your breath away!!!! I grew up here in this country and this would be a highlight to take my visiting friends and family.

Nice little town. Very friendly people. We rode her as an evening MC ride. Stopped at the local watering hole, people chatted with us and we had a nice visit.

I was at this place on September, 2015. Its a really great place!!! View from the bridge is simply amazing. You can see big trees and very small river :) The water in the river is crystal clear and cold. In the water you need to be very careful because there are strong currents. Take 20 minutes out of your day if you are visiting Auburn and walk across the Foresthill bridge. It is spectacular. The height along will amazed you. The local agencies keep trying to make it suicide-proof but the bridge has a unique history of tragic ends.

A vey nice drive through pretty country side. About 23 miles to there from Auburn. Take caution on curves and drive safely here as there have been many fatalities along this route.

Foresthill is home to many "must sees". The Foresthill Bridge is the tallest bridge in CA, and boasts beautiful views of the valley. There are numerous trails that uncover abandoned mines, gorgeous views, and small bridges and hidden gems. The Western States Endurance run comes through Foresthill and it's always fun to cheer on the runners. Foresthill is one of... More

The Foresthill Bridge is nestled in a great landscape. While it's fun to walk or drive across the bridge, I also recommend doing a hike down by the lower, Mountain Quarry/no-hands bridge in order to get great photos of Foresthill Bridge - which is the 4th highest in the US. There are many hiking trails and it's a beautiful area.... More
