If you like to shop in an old timey area, there are enough to feed your shopping frenzy. The area is small but charming. I love looking around Loads of cool stuff.

That is Auburn in a Nutshell. Friendly people, Family owned Eateries . Best Breakfast & Lunch is Awful Annie's. Shops to browse through. Great prices no pushy salesmen. Free tours at the Court House, Framers Market on Saturdays. Dinner I suggest Auburn Ale House, Bootleggers. Carpe Vino Wine Bar. Auburn has events all through the year.

Old town Auburn is well worth the time. Historically speaking, it is all here. Restaurants, gift shops, antique shops,. You won't be disappointed. Parking at times can be challenging, but there are public parking areas near. Public restrooms are available and more tourist towns should take note and provide. Enjoy!

Love the small boutique shops. Easy to park and walked to all the shops. Friendly town. Would definitely return when I have more time.

We enjoyed the shops and galleries in old town. The museum in the court house was very educational and we enjoyed the Bernhard House Museum, also. Bought several art works in the Auburn Old Town Gallery on Washington St. We missed the antique street fair by a day.

This town is full of beautiful shops with very friendly shopkeepers. There is a nice mix of stores with a little something for everyone. It's a good place to find special, unique gifts. There is a nice variety of restaurants to enjoy and lots of interesting history in this town. The giant statue of the gold miner is pretty impressive.... More

Good shops and eateries. The shops were plenty and had some nice shoes and clothing stores, home decor and local artists work.
