We visit family in Southern California every spring, and have traditionally added in a day and a night in Disneyland for our two children (now 8 and 10 years old). This year, we decided to take advantage of the special Parkhopper multiday tickets, wherein you pay for three days and get five days' access to the parks. We have always... more

We went on march 23 2008. We all loved it, not a whole lot of crowds, lines were fast. Hardly no waiting at all. Tower of terror and soarin were the best. Smoking areas were easy to get to and seemed like there were more here than disneyland. Staff were very friendly and talkative. Lots of photo ops with disney... more

We had a hopper pass and went to this park a couple of times. We really enjoyed not having to wait for ages in line for rides. The park was quiet each time we went, although it did get busy on after 1.00pm. California Screamin and the Tower of Terror are great rides, which we all enjoyed. The Electrical Parade... more

First off, I'll point out that the day we went to CA, it was pouring. That probably had an impact on our day as the crowds were small, the parades were cancelled, and we didn't get to enjoy the theming as much as we would. We entered the park when it opened at 10am. We went into a gift shop... more

My family went there on 29 Nov 2007 and we had a great time there! The shows were good and our 6 yr old daughter enjoyed them very much! But few rides aren't suitable for young children eventhough they reach the height limit! Overall, highly recommended to everyone! more

It's not Disneyland but it still is fun. We bought a 3 day pass for Disneyland/ California Adventure Parks. One of the days we spent at California Adventure which was enough for us to experience the park with a 5 year old. The best ... A Bug's Life, Soarin' Over California, Grizzly River Run, the Backlot and Redwood Creek. The... more

Last time we were down, this was still a parking lot, wow - what a change. I think the kids (5 & 8) preferred Disneyland, but the thrill-seeking adults in our group definitely preferred Cal. Adv. My hubby and I are not really "rides" people, but we did have a go at California Screamin' and loved it. Had to go... more

We bought tickets for 'Mickeys Halloween Treat' if you can do it. It was a great time. My 7 year old didn't know what to do with himself he was trick or treating on vacation. There were treat stations all over the park, we came home with 2 bags full of candy. Most of the rides were open so you... more

I think we all enjoyed California Adventure a tad better than the Disneyland Park. Reason for this, is it's more of an amusement park.. Rollercoasters, ferris wheels, - the whole thing is like a midway, with a boardwalk etc.. We really liked it, and for whatever reason, the park was practically empty (we hit this one on Tuesday), so we... more
