California Adventure and Disneyland are superior to Florida. They are more consolidated, and you only need 1 day to see both parks and then can spend you're holiday enjoying the remainder of Southern California.

Nice park. Well laid out. Has a lot of rides that Florida doesn't. However, having been here twice and Florida over ten times I'd say pay the extra and travel to Florida. Honestly one day in each park is all you really need so what to do with the rest of your holiday. Don't forget to utilise Fastpass. I've given... More

California adventure is a nice place for kids with awesome rides. Kids between 6-12 will enjoy most of the rides, music, plays etc., For teens and adults I didn't find any amazing rides. Must visit if you have small children in the family.

My husband, son, mother-in-law and I spent a day at California Adventure. My son and mother-in-law had not seen Carsland before, so we were excited to show them the new rides. We made use of the fastpass system and were able to ride everything we wanted to and some things multiple times. Halloweentime is a great time to visit because... More

California Adventure is a great change of pace from Disneyland. The rides are geared more to older children with tower of terror, California Screaming, Soarin, and others. Cars Land is a must see as Disney did a great job this part of the park and the Cars ride is a lot of fun. If you are planning on coming to... More

While the entrance fees are a bit much, the park was a nice change. Being familiar with most of the movies represented made the visit a lot of fun, especailly Cars' Land. Biggest complaint, the rides were not made to accomodate tall adults. My husband is over 6' (with long legs) and had to be moved on two different rides... More

Loved this park and it was great for smaller kids, especially the bugs life section. The only ride that my thrill seeker sister and hubby didnt like was the tower of terror.... that one they will avoid next time

We spent 2 days here and loved every minute. Cars land was my favourite as was the Haunted Hollywood mansion and the huge rollercoaster. We have children aged 7 and 8 and it was a perfect age for them reliving all the movies and characters they had watched growing up. The parades were fabulous and the World of Colour was... More

I visited with several college friends, and we enjoyed the nightlife of the park on top of the rides. For rides, Soaring over California is unique and not too daring, while California Screaming is a high-speed roller coaster that rides smoothly while raising your heart rate. Tower of Terror was totally worth the wait - the attendants on the ride... More

The park was expensive. I realize it is probably more for younger kids, but it seems like for that price there should be plenty of adult things as well.
