It is also a hands on interactive experience of fun! Over 85 games to play from the earliest pinball machines to the latest. One admission lets you play all day to your hearts content, without fumbling for quarters. It is family friendly and educational with shows on the art of pinball, exhibits on pinball science and our permanent historical display of pinball evolution. People from the world over have given us rave reviews and love our unique presentation of this classic game. Our large format murals of hand painted backglass art are admired and coveted by artists and pinheads alike and the chance to play a completely transparent pinball machine is icing on the cake. « less

You step foot in this place and are greeted with a room of humming EMs. The smell reminds me of when something electrical fails in your house. Normally you'd be running around trying to see what blew up, but at PPM, this smell is part of the experience. The museum is divided up roughly into eras. Woodrails, one player, and... More

We are big fans of arcades and especially pinball machines, play them whenever we can find them. What a nice surprise to discover a wonderful pinball museum not far from our Hotel. We drove to Alameda, easily parked, and had a few hours of fun playing old favorites and a few newer machines. We found Funhouse, Creature from the Black... More

Fun local place to play some vintage restored pinball machines and show the kids the games of the past. A historical experience still enjoyed by many.

Over 50? You gotta be there, dude. It truly takes you back. Dozens and dozens of pinball machines from the 30's to today. Try 'em all. One flat fee gives you free access to rooms of machines. Even if nostalgia is not your thing, by the time you leave you will see it differently.

What's not to like?!? Pay one flat entry fee and you get the run of the joint, which includes historic old and functional pinball machines from their first entries into the market to later models that were more complex and had electronic displays. Maybe the feeling is not quite the same since a quarter is not on the line each... More

We love this place. There's a fixed admission price and all of the machines are set to free play. What's not to be missed it the great New Years Eve party. Admission, free play, and lots of food and drink. A wonderful way to ring in the New Year.

Remember those interactive museums as a kid where you could push all the buttons and stuff would happen. Well the Pacific Pinball Museum is a treasure trove of pinball magic, ranging from the 19th century through the 21st. Great party room as well, and the couple owners were terrific! Had a work party and the tournament on all the different... More

Our nephew who lives in Alameda brought us to show us how "cool" it is - and it is! Super fun. Games for everyone in the family. A good time for all!

After an entrance fee, all play is free. There are lots of machines so wait time isn't an issue. I only wish there was more printed information about the history of the the games and the various machines in particular. All machines were in good working order even the oldest ones. A fun and different outing.
