Relatively easy hiking in an area you don't need to be afraid of getting lost in. Easy access and parking. Doesn't cost anything.

This hill looks deceivingly easy to hike. Take your water, wear good boots, and enjoy the views of the Superstitions.

About 10 miles of hiking trails-- go for an hour or two or three.a good work out with a good view. There is also a shorter wheel-chair accessible trail at the base of the mountain that is paved and the local flora identified.

Our Blue Heeler loves this area as much as we do. Is close to home, has nice variety of trails, plus beautiful informative Arboretum. Maps n water fountain available. Beautiful scenic views.

My husband and I visited his Dad in Apache Junction and did most parts of this little mountain's hiking trails starting at 7 am. The Huff & Puff trail is definitely just that, but honestly I thought it would be harder than it was. Beautiful views from all parts of the trails......must bring water and start early in the day!

took my kids ages 17 and 9 and this was a great little hike. Not too hard for the 9 year old - my son loved climbing a little higher than us girls. Take plenty of water - seemed like it would be ok for dogs too.

This is a good, short hike, best done during the fall, winter, or spring months. Also has a little wheelchair-friendly interpretive trail. There are good views from the top, and several geocaches along the trail.

This mountain is the perfect size for the young beginner, The senior still trying to stay active, or even the pro who is short on time and likes to fit in a daily hike to keep in shape. For me.... well...i'm a middle age Grandma, not in the best active shape, and have 4 feisty young grandsons, ages 8 to... More

The park has some labeled vegetation that can be viewed from a paved path. The real attraction is the hike to the top of the "mountain", actually a quite high hill. It is an easy to moderate climb that anyone in average condition can do. At the top, one can look over the entire Phoenix valley. Downtown Phoenix is about... More

Take a hike up Silly Mountain and see the Superstitions and the desert from a new angle. There is plenty of parking at the base off the highway (60), and trails with signs telling about the area head upwards. It is a gravel trail, and poles would be useful for those who need balance assistance, especially going downhill. It is... More
