I have had the chance to play Apache Creek several times when in town and have always enjoyed the challenge and scenery of the course. With that said, for the amount of golfers that play here and the price of greens fees I feel it needs some major maintenance improvements. Some of the holes are in very nice condition, yet... More

Nicely taken care of golf course for the weekend golfer, but you better be on your game. It's not too difficult to stray off the farways, as they are not very wide. As others have said, if your game is not accurate, your irons may take a beating in the dirt. In one sense they are well organized getting at... More

I read the reviews and thought that people were being a little rough on this course as it is a desert course and deserts do have sand and rocks and the idea is to stay on the fairways. So, I took a chance, but won't be back. Now for the grueling details: We booked a tee time and arrived to... More

Decent grass...fast greens, NO RUSH... Tons of gophers and their holes, so staying where it's green is pretty important. Snack shop offers a variety of food, including breakfast anytime. Not expensive and fast service. Carts are in good repair, clubhouse restrooms very clean. Not a professional course, but fun to play!

Any day golfing on a sunny day is great. This is is nice course for an average player. Choose 9 or 18 holes. Found it a little pricey compared to some of the other local, similar, courses. Preferred Apache Sun Golf Club-a little greener, but about the same length and challenge.

Apache Creek is a nice laid back golf course. It is very challenging for the beginning golfer as there is a lot of desert on the course. If you don't hit the fairways, you are playing off of dirt. And if you hit dirt, your balls aren't always the easiest to find. If you can get a good price, it's... More

Nice driving range and practice areas (putting, chipping, sand). Inexpensive golf and the course can be tough for short hitters and the directionally-challenged. Get off the fairway and you'll be hitting out of desert dirt. If your aim tends to be poor, bring along an old club for that special desert recovery.
