We took the 2+ hour trail ride with the OK Corral outfit in Apache Junction. My wife and I trail ride all over the country and as we travel in our RV. The OK Corral is top shelf operation. This is what I look for: Are the horses well cared for? Does the trail boss handle the horses with kindness?... More

While vacationing in Mesa, AZ, a friend suggested we take a ride. We are always up for a horseback ride when we travel, and my wife is actually on a mission to ride a horse in every state, so we quickly agreed. Our friend took us to the OK Corral and we had one of the best riding experiences we've... More

OK Corral offers rides that appeal to the most tenderfoot to the most experienced. I have ridden them all and enjoyed every one of them, taking friends and family of various levels of ability. They have also loved the rides. All of the horses at the OK Corral are excellent mounts and very sure footed. The most difficult, for advanced... More

My daughter and I are experienced riders and had a great two hour ride with Dan. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area - the cactii, wildlife, local history - and kept up a good conversation while riding. We rode Cimmaron and Shorty who were well-behaved during the entire ride. The scenery in the Superstition Mountains is beautiful and the... More

Close to the Ghost Town and Phoenix. Our family of four stayed in the RV park here and did a two hour horseback ride in the afternoon. If you horseback ride ask for Ceaser. A great white stallion that took good care of me. Our guide had been riding horses since he was a tot and was gave us a... More

This operation is first class. They really care about the safety of their customers and their horses. They match you to your horse by height, weight and ability. I went on the two hour ride. There were four other riders plus our wrangler who was full of knowledge and stories. He was able to give all sorts of information on... More

We went for an hour long ride with our 7 year old twin boys. They've never been on a horse before, so I was bit anxious, but the staff handled the safety - each boy rode with a helmet, and they each had their own cowboy who kept an eye on them and put the boys' horses on a lead... More

We rode with Josh in the early evening. It was so beautiful in the desert, with the Superstition Mountains in the background. It was my 7 year old son's first ride, and he will always remember it fondly. The horses were well mannered and well kept.
