It was great to be on the water in Arizona. The boarding process was very organized and quick to proceed. We had a wonderful seat inside on the top desk, where we were able to see from all sides the beautiful scenery the lake as to offer. It was great to be able to enjoy the ride with the breeze... Visited July 5th with my husband, 12 yr old son and parents who are in their mid-to-late 60s and it was great for the entire family. We left the motel hours early so we could enjoy the sights along the way traveling clock-wise from Apache Junction. We arrived an hour early (too early). It's really not necessary to arrive more... Wonderful way to see some beautiful scenery! We were lucky enough to see a bunch of Mt Goats on our trip. It is a nice relaxing and enjoyable ride.

I can't believe I've lived here 20+ years and never knew about this hidden gem! What a great place for an adult birthday celebration. Not only was it a beautiful night, the views were fantastic and the food was divine! We got to see the Bighorn Sheep and a bald eagle. The captain was so funny and just enhanced the... More

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful evening on the Dolly Steamboat. The dinner was wonderfully done - come hungry. Cash bar for those that want a drink, pop or water. The tour through the canyon was breath taking. Our captain was always on the lookout for any wildlife to point out. We saw about 10 Big Horn sheep on... More

This is another great place to go while in and around the east side of Phoenix at the reservoirs. If you take Hwy 287 up from Apache Junction, the road winds up the Superstition Mountain to the 3 reservoirs. The first reservoir houses the marina, and the Steamboat. There is no food on the boat only drinks, and the ride... More

We decided to take the Dolly tour and had a very nice ride. We saw mountain goats from a distance. We loved the ride and had a nice sunny day.

The Dolly Steamboat tour was a very relaxing experience. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. The day we were there was warm and still. The guide was able to answer any questions that were asked and seemed to truly love his job. It was a fun way to find out some of the history of the area and we saw eagles... More
