This is a relaxing, interesting and beautiful cruise around Canyon Lake. We saw eagles and desert big horn sheep. This is a large lake in the middle of the desert! The trip to Canyon Lake is a windy, narrow road but there is lots to see. It was a fun afternoon and we want to add that Capt John Walker... More

A 1 1/2 hour cruise on Canyon lake. The cruise is restful and informative and the scenery is beautiful. There are drinks available on board. We felt the view was best on the outside or upper decks, but you are able to walk around to get a good view. This cruise is year round, we went in Aug. but want... More

I was here with 5 other family members, great family vacation spot. The ride is well worth the $20 each, though we had a groupon that only made it $15. Waiting to get on stinks, because its hot, and you board by your number, so no big reason to line up at the gate. Have a drink at the bar,... More

'We spent an enjoyable day on Dolly's Steamboat going around Canyon Lake. This ride takes you through some beautiful and unusual canyons. If you are lucky you may see some wildlife. We saw a Bald Eagle, sheep, and a Great Blue Heron. In ,addition to the narrative, the two crew members were extremely knowledeable about the area and the history.... More

Well worth the money and drive. Took the steamboat on the lake and it was very beautiful. Crew were very informative along the way. Even had a snackbar to purchase treats. Would definately do this again if in the area.

It was great to be on the water in Arizona. The boarding process was very organized and quick to proceed. We had a wonderful seat inside on the top desk, where we were able to see from all sides the beautiful scenery the lake as to offer. It was great to be able to enjoy the ride with the breeze... Visited July 5th with my husband, 12 yr old son and parents who are in their mid-to-late 60s and it was great for the entire family. We left the motel hours early so we could enjoy the sights along the way traveling clock-wise from Apache Junction. We arrived an hour early (too early). It's really not necessary to arrive more...
