Just outside Apache Junction, this park will allow you to have a taste of the Superstitions without being in them. After a rainy spring, you will see a hillside of flowers. There are longer trails into the Superstitions from the park. More

We wanted to take in a 2-3 mile hike east of Apache Junction, and had been at Lost Dutchman before. We were out at the site at 7:00 a.m. to beat the heat. I have these mountains to look at everyday and it just never gets old. Nothing like the spring time with all th flowers in bloom and who knows you just might come across that hidden treasure. More

Lost Dutchman is a great place to take hikes. There is also a picnic area and campground. Great place to spend a day!!! More

Since this park is so close to Mesa and Phoenix, I was surprised how nice it was. I was even more surprised to see so many stars so close to a metropolitan area. it can get quite hot out in these parts but this park has a short 2.8 loop trail that is fantastic any time of day though no shade. The facilities are very well keept and they offer full camping site w/ elec and showers also. More
