Old WPA state park. Kept neat with a few exceptions. Very courteous staff! The man-made falls at the dam and the creek below are super!

This park is a peaceful play to get away. Nothing exciting to write home about, a picnic ground with bath house,(dirty). Up on the hill they have a nice One day Picnic Ground you can access the falls from this point, carry your own table and set up for picnic. Our trip was in Motorhome, sewer, water and power. You... Pros: Nice quiet park, seems well laid out, clean bathroom. Cons: $37/night for a tent is ridiculous. If you are coming in after the gate closes, & you don't have a prior reservation, be prepared to pay full board. This park doesn't take same day reservations for primitive sites ONLY. At $18, I don't see what the problem is......However, they'll... More

We had no idea we would find a waterfall in Auburn. This is a very nice park. They have camping, playgrounds, water sports, pavilions, and hiking trails. My family loved exploring around the water fall.

When touring a new area I always try to explore the natural side. This was my first time in Auburn and by far I thought this park would be the highlight of the week. It's the only state park in the area and dates back to President Theodore Roosevelt's time. As a matter of fact it was his "New Deal"... More

I really enjoy coming here. When in I was in college, I would go with my frat. I also like going just to enjoy some nature.

Fun place to visit on a hot day during football season. I have fond memories going back to college days on the Plains.

I always loved coming to this park to hike or run around. Such a lovely place to hang out with friends or to just enjoy nature. Trails are great and the value is too.

There are a good number of hiking trails here as well as a man made "waterfall" from a dam that drains from a pond. The "waterfall" creates a nice stream that leads down to a creek which I ASSUME is spring fed since it's always so chilly! There are some good inclines to hike and picnic areas are provided. Plenty... More
