I have been here on a date with my boyfriend and my dog and it was amazing! The waterfall is absolutely beautiful! We hung up our hammock and read books together! I have also come with friends to go exploring/hiking/swimming! Such a fun place to be out doors & a very reasonable price!

The hiking trails are well marked and can range from very easy to a little more strenuous. Several are around the water falls.

I spent one day over here. Water is pretty high these days so fall are kinda wild but there is so many hikes and you totally need your mountain bike with you if you have any. Great place for family

The park is nice, not very big indeed. On eek ends is a little bit crowded to my test. There is a man made lake for canoeing and swimming.

If you have a mountain bike or hiking boots this is where to use them! Brought back from the brink of closure (well maybe not that bad but it was getting dumpy) Chewacla Park has found new life as a mountain bikers destination. Thousands of hours of volunteer work largely by supporters of CAMP, has not only resulted in many... More

The cabins are some of the best you'll experience in any state park in the country. Though the staff seems disconnected at times, they will address your needs in the end. For instance, our a/c was out when we checked in. They soon had us in another cabin in no time. Great alternative lodging when playing the RTJ golf courses.... More

It's a quiet, peaceful spot if you're on the way to Auburn and you have a couple hours to chill out. It's nice being along the river.

Old WPA state park. Kept neat with a few exceptions. Very courteous staff! The man-made falls at the dam and the creek below are super!

This park is a peaceful play to get away. Nothing exciting to write home about, a picnic ground with bath house,(dirty). Up on the hill they have a nice One day Picnic Ground you can access the falls from this point, carry your own table and set up for picnic. Our trip was in Motorhome, sewer, water and power. You... Pros: Nice quiet park, seems well laid out, clean bathroom. Cons: $37/night for a tent is ridiculous. If you are coming in after the gate closes, & you don't have a prior reservation, be prepared to pay full board. This park doesn't take same day reservations for primitive sites ONLY. At $18, I don't see what the problem is......However, they'll... More
