I had no idea what the Berman museum was, but now I think I do. My take is the Berman family decided to share their collection of treasures they’ve amassed over the years with the rest of us. The museum has unique oil paintings, fascinating sculptures, different types of weapons from around the world and much, much more. My only... More

This is well worth the trip. The museum has some very interesting items. Mr. Berman collected these items during his world travels. There are many old style weapons, uniforms and many other interesting things.

As a WWII buff, I was totally thrilled to see so many weapons and artifacts from that era. Things I had only read about or seen in books I could see with my own eyes. Imagine thier usefulness. Enjoyable afternoon trip.

Very cleanly put together. Very focused on weapons of all kinds. Kinda makes you wonder what really was behind the couple that collected these oddities. Very interesting.

Wonderful museum filled with many interesting things and simply lovely folks running it. There was so much to look at and to learn from that I had to take a breather by taking advantage of one of their cushioned seats. I highly recommend this museum.

WOW, what a cool museum. You would never think that you would find such a place in a little town like Anniston. The back story of it's founder is fantastic and to see all of the unique items that were collected was really fun. Make sure you stop at the other museum next door as well!

The Berman Museum of weapons and art is truly an amazing collection and chronology of weaponry through the ages. Individual pieces, such as Hitler's silver set, are unique objects of history that give one chills. The Remington and Russell bronzes are fabulous.

We were here as guests at a wedding. Grounds were well maintained. Site and facilities were kept clean. We were still able to access the museum and it was great. All the exhibits had plenty of information. It was educational and had interactive areas for kids. In the Asia area there were masks and kimonos to try on. There was... More

Plan a couple hours if you want to thoroughly view, read, and enjoy this fascinating collection of war and historical items from all over the world. Collected by a local man and left for the community and visitors to enjoy. Mummies, weapons, personal effects from Napoleon, Joan of Arc, others..
