If you love history or not, you will still find this collection of artifacts, weapons, spy equipment and much more very interesting. And with the addition of temporary displays from various estates and collections, you never know what you will find. I'm not a fan of weaponry, etc., but I found this museum very fascinating because of the uniqueness and... More

We are on a road trip from Birmingham to North Carolina and wanted to make a few short stops on the way. This museum was fascinating, and just right size. It didn't take long to see all that we wanted and then keep going. And inexpensive admission too.

If you are anywhere near Anniston, make time for this extraordinary museum. What you get is one man's strange collection of armaments and ephemera from a lifetime's obsession with the weird and the wonderful, especially from Europe but from many other places too. So, where do you go to see Napoleon's shot gun or Hilter's grape scissors ... or some... More

Farley Berman was an American spy who married a French spy(Germaine) he met in North Africa in WW II. They moved back to his hometown of Anniston after WW II. This museum puts their four decades long pursuit of collecting various and sundry items of their historical interests on display for public consumption. A visit is well worth the price... More

One word- Fascinating! This museum is a true one of a king museum that sets the bar on quality and how items are on display. They do more than just have the name and date of the item, they tell a story that helps us know what was happening then or what it was used for. The variety makes it... More

I love the displays with all the weapons used in the different world wars and throughout time in the United States. They had everything from uniforms to silverware on display.

I had no idea what the Berman museum was, but now I think I do. My take is the Berman family decided to share their collection of treasures they’ve amassed over the years with the rest of us. The museum has unique oil paintings, fascinating sculptures, different types of weapons from around the world and much, much more. My only... More
