We have been going to Dorr County for many, many years, it is truly a beautiful place. We enjoy it during the "off" season. During the summer it is much too crowded and also can be pricey. There is something there for everyone, shops, golfing, beaches, parks, nice restaurants, etc. It is not the "Dells", thank goodness, no chain stores... more

We stayed in Ephraim, but traveled up the penninsula visiting towns and seeing Washington Island, as well as down into the towns south of Ephraim. This is a great place to visit during the month of October especially. Door County as the best Vinyards & Orchards in the whole of Wisconsin.
