Our family took the tour today and loved it. Mark was great, easy going, very laid back, funny and great with the kids. He gave a lot of info that was kid friendly but also talked with the adults too. Even gave out prizes to the kids for questions, made them easy so that even the young ones would get... more

Our guide provided a great deal of background knowledge and "set up the stage" for the night of Lincoln's Assasination. The tour was to be about 1 1/2 hours but because we had so many questions it was almost 2 1/2 hours. NO ONE was bored! Great stuff. more

We did the monument tour with Tim as our guide, and it was quite informative and entertaining. The entire group obviously enjoyed it. Tim did warn us beforehand that he could be long-winded, and the tour lasted over two hours rather than the advertised 90 minutes. People say this tour is funny. Ours wasn't but I guess it's hit and miss depending on the guide. Very informative and make sure you finish with teh Korean memorial, too many people drop out at Lincoln. more

This was a great tour and we could tell that our guide, Tim, loves this city. We were touring with our three kids - ages 5, 7, and 11 and he definitely held their interest. Great way to see the monuments and get some extra information. more

We had Steve on our tour of Arlington Cemetery and really enjoyed his tour style and commentary. Even our skeptical teenager appreciated the tour. There is some real uphill walking on this tour so be prepared for that. That said, I did enjoy walking through the cemetery as opposed to taking a bus. You get a more intimate experience. more

This was the best thing we did while in DC. Our guide, David, was very knowledgeable and we found out some very interesting facts on this tour. Took the Ghost Walking Tour tonight and it was nothing as advertised. It wasn't spooky, funny or even interesting. The tour guide seemed new on the job and exhibited a complete lack of confidence in his stories. It turned out to be a few lame stories about supposed ghost hauntings, but all of the storeis lacked good descriptions and left... more

Another vote for D.C. by Foot. The whole family enjoyed it. Our guide spent almost 2 1/2 hours with us. He was funny, and we learned so much. I would do it again. more
