Mike H. was our tour guide. Both he and the driver were very courteous and friendly. The tour was both informative and fun. Highly recommend over city sights which was costly and a waste of time. Will definitely be looking for free tours by foot for all future trips. Kind regards, Hampson Family

My family went on the walking ghost tour and it was informative and creepy. Our tour guide Sarah was very knowledgeable and informative. Be prepared to walk uphill. If you enjoy things like this it is well worth the time.

I recently took a group of 9 high school students from our church youth ministry to Washington, D.C. After a long day walking (poor planning on my part), we embarked on a DC by Foot walking tour of the National Mall. Our tour guide was Dan and he was AWESOME!!! Dan is a former high school teacher and he had... More

Our tour guide Britt was very knowledgable about our American History and fun facts! We lucked out with the wonderful weather, otherwise we would have been miserable.

We did three walking tours on our recent trip to Washington, DC, (National Mall, Capitol Hill, and Lincoln Assassination) and honestly I wish we had had the time to do more! All three were fantastic and a great way to see the city. Our guides Mike, Carolyn, and Becca were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and extremely helpful with directions and other attractions... More

We booked two tours with DC by foot as the price was free to pay what we thought the tour was worth. The National Mall tour was excellent! Our guide was Britt. He was very knowledgeable of the Mounments and how they were constructed. The background information was the cherry on the top! The second tour was The Library of... More

We went on the Twilight Tour and enjoyed it. It was very reasonably priced...$19 for the bus and then tips. We saw the MLK Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Iwo Jima, Air Force Memorial, and Lincoln Memorial. Cecelia was very informative and friendly. The only issues we had were that the bus PA system wasn't working, so the air conditioning had to... More

We arranged a DC by Foot tour of the National Mall and Tidal Basin. I had seen the reviews on TripAdvisor and decided it was a great choice. It was BOILING hot the day that we took the tour--I recommend that you always have some water with you because although you do stop for drinks--better to have it with you.... More

We did a tour of the monuments on our own using the DC Circulator bus during the day. We booked the National Mall at Night tour for our last evening in the city. This was well worth it. They gave great communication before the tour on how to find them and what to expect. Our guide, Ricky, did very well... More

It was our first time in Washington and the two tours we booked proved to be a great way to get an overview of the history and layout of the city. We did the Evening National Mall Tour with Mike first. It was a large group and the Mall was very busy! Mike was very personable, with lots of info... More
