I have been going to this flea market for 30 years. Before eBay (sigh) it was fantastic, and I went a lot, and bought a lot. You never knew who would show up with a truckload of interesting and reasonably priced vintage items. Of course there were regulars, but it was much more diverse. On any given Sunday ... It... More

Other than being in Georgetown, which is a destination worth visiting, this flea market was jewelry and a few pieces of furniture. I dont know when those pix were taken but yesterday's was a few tables in a school yard. Its a difficult location to get to and parking is always a problem There must be better ones!

Many flea markets have lots of rusty tools, musty stuff and scuffed household items, but not this one! The vendors were there on a very cold, windy March morning and in good spirit. It was fairly small, occupying maybe 1/4 of a city block. The crafts and second-hand/vintage items were in excellent condition. I purchased a nice necklace and a... More

disclaimer: we were there in October, perhaps the vendors tend to drop off as the weather gets colder.....not as extensive as we anticipated, just a typical flea market, wouldn't go out of my way again to visit

The Georgetown flea market used to be "the" place for antiques, art, furniture and oddities. The fare has gone more to the cheaper side of goods and the old days of finding that perfect antique or accessory have given way to more predictable goods.

Wow, great vendors! Found some gorgeous vintage linens that have been cleaned and starched to perfection, an Indian Anokhi seller with stunning Indian floral prints on fabrics (clothing and table linens), plenty of international art and various international jewelry sellers with silver and precious stones galore. This is my all-time favorite flea market EVER. It's really a flea market/antiques market... More

This place is super expensive. Anything worth looking at has astronomical prices. There were only two jewellery vendors (that made their own, rather than just selling trinkets - which were the most of the other ones) - but their stuff was simply outrageous. $95 for a pair of sort-of-interesting earrings? And they're not even silver? $30 for a small copper... More

My husband and I went to the market years ago and loved it. The quality, diversity and amount of items available was impressive so we were looking forward to returning again this afternoon - a beautiful, temperate August Sunday - perfect for this type of activity. We love and collect vintage and antique items, "treasure hunting" and talking/learning from the... More

I've been going here for 20 years and my house is testament to that. There are great deals to be had. I bought a 1200 diamond and gold bracelet for less than $100. It used to be more than twice the size and rivaled some of the best markets in Europe. But the school forced it back and Internet selling... More

Part of the fun of the Georgetown Flea is not knowing which vendors will show up on any given Sunday. With the prime spots taken early, the "second tier" fill in the slots and that's where real bargains can be found. There is an abundance of jewelry here, both the real deal and costume type; lots of furniture, on the... More
