We were here in April and took in the first game of the playoffs, Caps vs. Islanders. We had great seats and the price was reasonable. It was weird though to see empty seats at a playoff game. The Verizon center is easy to navigate, it's clean and the staff are helpful. There are lots of food choices, from typical... More

Verizon Center is right in the heart of the city, and is very easy to get to off of the Metro on the Red, Yellow, and Green lines. The upper deck does make you feel like the players are a bit like ants - I've been in upper decks where the views were a little better. But, lots of places... More

2 Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and a Chicken Quesadilla with 2 bottles of water came to $43 which was outrageous , the food wasn't even good! Staff was slightly rude.

While visiting D.C. I tried to get a tour of the Verizon Center. I am a fan of the Washington Capitals hockey team which plays in the building and have toured other stadiums even though games were not being played at the time. I was disappointed to find that the Verizon Center doesn't offer tours nor do they have a... More

I happened across this place while travelling with my fiancé, and thought it was quite a cool find. The restaurants were very expensive by the looks of it, but the Bed, Bath and Beyond on the lower level was fun!

Even if you have tickets in the nosebleed section, you can see most stage performances really well. The concourses are not fancy at all, it's your basic cement block decorating, but the directional signs are good and the portal numbers are well-marked. If you have a general floor admission ticket for a concert - make sure you go to the... More

Great place to catch an event - not a bad seat in the house. Concessions are rediculously expensive, more like FEDEX than Nationals Park, but there are plenty of food and beverage options. Parking isn't too difficult, but oging by Metro is also easy and inexpensive if your group is small (Metro ain't cheep).
