Went to see a WNBA game here - pleasant staff, easily negotiable aisles, excellent access to mass transit, nice shops/attractions/restaurants nearby. My only complaint was, many of the food service operations inside the arena were not staffed for this game.

I am late sending this review but and doing so, anyway. Over the years, I have attended this venue for sports (games) and once concert (saw Maxwell back in 2009). The plus is I have obtained some very reasonably priced tickets for some of the events (back in the mid 2000s, sales rep RICK G. was great to interact with... More

We visited the arena to watch a wizards game. When there is an event crowds of people tend to come, so keep in mind that you might have trouble finding a parking spot. Parking fees during the events are over 30$. If you can use mass transit to get in, do so.

Attended the Lady Gaga ArtPOP Ball here at the Verizon Center. Overall our experience was a good one. Although our seats were high up, we had a great view of the stage and large screens from our seats. There were plenty of food and beverage choices and the prices were fairly average for stadium/concert events. The restrooms were clean and... More

Great place to go and to watch a sport event or to attend a business conference. Plenty of room and near the city centre. Staff is very nice!

Metro is the way to go! My 11 year old was so excited about this birthday gift. The whole family went and its was loads of fun. Be prepared for the loud roar of the engines and to lose your voice from the crowd participation yelling. All in all....good fun and convenient location.

I was the lucky +1 for a Capitals hockey game. My first Caps game, my first NHL game, my first time in the Verizon Center all rolled into one. Super easy to get to via a number of Metro stops. The neighborhood it's in has a wide variety of really top-notch restaurants, so we ate beforehand so I can't critique... More

We went for a NBA game wizards vs heat game. We sat in VIP and security was so rude. Yelling at people and arguing. I've been to many arenas and never experienced anything like this. The stadium itself is nice. Top row looks like it is really high upper. The lounges for VIP are just ok nothing special.

I have been both off and on the court here, as a fan and as a halftime performer. Staff here could not be nicer. From the security check in to the staff members who make sure you get to the right section, row, seat, it's an all around pleasant experience. It's always lively in and around this sports complex with... More
