hockey game

great place but subpar atmosphere. Not bad for a rookie hockey fan. Nothing compared to Calgary, Edmonton, Rangers...etc.

Unlike most other venues you can actually see from the nose bleeds. We went to a hockey game here and had a great time. I recommend getting the club seat package and be able to enjoy food and alcohol from before the game up until the 2nd intermission.

Came here for the game. This was my first basketball game here. I've been here for other events. Nice and clean. We sat in Section 120, row M and had a great view of the game. The attendants were fine. We parked a couple blocks away for $15. Overall, it was a great time.

This was my second NBA game the first was at a CAVS game at the Quicken Loans Arena. I went to the Washington Wizards game thinking that I was going to be treated to a great game and that like my other NBA experience at the Quicken loans arena in Cleveland that I was going to be treated like a... Neil Diamond gave an outstanding and most entertaining performance. When we entered the Verizon Center and presented our tickets we were told that our seats had been changed and to go to a nearby table for the exchange. We did and our balcony seats were exchanged to seats on the main floor. It appears that they closed off this section... More

We visited for the Wild/Capitals game, the atmosphere felt slightly subdued (compared to the Flyers who we had seen two days before) due the Capitals were in a better position for a Play-off position. Like most of the US arena/stadiums that I’ve previously visited there was a good selection of food and drink items (at a premium costs, as you... More

Got ticket last minute (yes, if you're lucky enough you can get them right before the game !) Great atmosphere and no matter where you seat, you'll have a great view ! Enjoy the game and go Wizards !

Have been to 2 concerts at this arena. Relatively easy in/out with convenient below ground parking. Be prepared to pay $$$ for snacks/beverages. My BIGGEST complaint is with the parking management. Take caution, because the parking attendants WILL park cars 2-3 deep, meaning.... if you try to get out early, and the attendant isn't there to move the cars blocking... More

I like the arena. Unfortunately the caps lost. Like at any arena alcoholic beverages are high. Food is reasonably priced.

I took my girlfriend to see her first hockey game ever and she is now hooked!!! The Verizon Center is a great venue that is actually very easy to get to and navigate! We parked at the Pentagon and took the Yellow Line Metro right to the door! We sit normally in the 200 sections and the bathrooms aren't that... More
