I attended the Capitals-Islanders game and sat in the 400 section. Usually these are bad seats, but the Verizon Center is built very well so that these seats are very good and you can see everything without having to move your head so much. The proximity to the Chinatown Metro is great, and if you get to the arena early,... More

The Verizon Center is a nice venue. I had the opportunity to see a Wizard's Basketball game there. It is located in the heart of the town close to all restaurants, bars and attractions. All the seats are great and there is plenty of food choices.

Watched our first hockey game in years there. We sat up in the nosebleed section, but had a very good view of the ice. The TV screen and sound effects were a lot of fun. Loved the escalators, would have hated to hike up to those seats. Only downer was the price of beer.

I went to a Capitals ice hockey game at the Verizon center and sat in the upper section. In addition to the vertiginous steepness of the upper section, I found that the people that sat in the row in front of me essentially made my seat obstructed view. I never had a full view of the rink while they were... More

I bought tickets to the game from my home in Sweden around one week before the game. What I hadn't realised was that the print-yourself ticket scheme had a print delay and that you could not print tickets sooner than 72 h before the game. As I left my home 67 h before the game, it was a close call.... More

Decent Arena Space ... not particularly well-done nor is it bad! I went to go see a Lakers-Wizards game back in 2008 (one of the first games after the Lakers traded for Pau Gasol!!) and the arena experience was alright but not fantastic.

I took my son and a friend to the game on 11/15. Our seats were in section 227 row D. I would highly recommend these seats. The seats were wider, padded, and had cup holders. Be careful of seats in the lower sections. Unless you are paying big money a lot of the seats are merely folding chairs. We had... More

If you're going to watch the home team, or even if you are rooting for the opposition Verizon Center is a great arena. Tons of food options. Excellent seats almost anywhere in the house. Right off metro therefore you can leave the car home. If you haven't used Uber you can still leave the car home. Use code "UberMrWes" for... More
