Colombia Station is a fantastic venue to listen to good jazz music. My boyfriend and I went for the first time this past Sunday night and it was amazing. The bartender was really friendly, great drinks and not expensive. As we sat and listened to the music more and more band members came all very very talented.. We will definitely.... More

I was visiting Washington DC in April from Australia and visited here on a Friday night. Admittedly it was a wet night but this place was very sad. The musicians tried hard and played good music but at one point I was the only customer. In three hours, seven (I counted them) people came and went. One feels this place... More

Have visited a number of times. The jazz is consistently good in this small and intimate venue. The service is really good and the food always up to a good standard. Will be going back often.

My husband and I were drawn to this place like a magnet. Once we heard Jazz music wafting down the street, we had to venture inside this place to check it out. We ended up sitting outside to listen to the wonderful musicians jamming inside (there are large windows that open up, so we basically had front row seats). We... More

DC has several upscale jazz clubs, but Columbia Station is a very mellow jazz scene with good music, no cover charge and good food and drinks. It's right on the main drag in Adams Morgan. The main act on weekends is a famous bassist, Butch Warren, who still sounds great, playing with some talented younger people. The style is straightahead... More
