I´ve just passed by the front of Capitol, but immediately came to my mind movie scenes. The landscape of the Smithsonian Complex in front is beautiful view.

That the building is beautiful, everybody knows, right? No! It's not the same when you see it live... all the sorrounding is also very nice. It was a rainny day and even though it was a very nice place to visit. The colours of the trees mesmerized me!!!

Hilarious political parodies on both sides! Show is two hours long and is awesome! There is a bar available did early arrivals. Not a bad seat in the house. Totally worth the evening activity while you're visiting DC with the museums closing at 530. Show is awesome and super funny.

No holds barred political satire. Even my 17 year old daughter thought it was hysterical. She did not seem to mind that the audience skews older. Content was very current!

The performers were amazing. We lucked out in going on Halloween so we were able to snag seats in the 3rd row with only a week's advance purchase. (Our DC friend who suggested the outing was shocked that there were some empty seats until I pointed out what day it was :) We really enjoyed the experience and if I... More

A most enjoyable evening of laughing it all, which has to do with politics. Very entertaining. Requires being well briefed in Daily Events and understanding the political environment. Might be less suitable for foreign visitors. The material is both recycled and refreshed or updated, some of the jokes are " expected". Still a Very unique DC experience between the White... More

I saw Capitol Steps in Somerville, New Jersey and I didn't know what to expect. It was hilarious. The had an actor, Corey Harris, that did a spot on Obama impression and another actress that nailed Pelosi. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw him on Saturday Night Live one day. Definitely a show for an educated crowd though. And... More

If you enjoy satire about politics inside and outside the beltway, the long-running Capitol Steps should be on your to-do list. The two-hour show of short musical skits has some good hits (and some misses), depending on the political cycle at the moment. Venue inside a government office building is a little odd for a show of this sort, but... More

This performance was ok, but a bit on the dirtier side than I can enjoy. But when they weren't dirty, they were very entertaining!

It is really long to walk up these steps. I won't recommend it for kids under 7 and seniors. Other than that not bad.
