Immigration Issues = Check Nancy Pelosi Botox = Check Tom Brady Deflategate = Check Supreme Court Female Justices = Check ISIL or ISIS = Check Jeb Bush = Check The point is, no one and no issue is safe from parody. The writer does a phenomenal job of pairing the top political issues with popular music from each decade. The... More

Q. What to do get when you put clever writing, song and dance together in the bottom of the Reagan Building? A. The Capitol Steps. Witty and fast paced comedy that could have been the inspiration of The Daily Show. Highly recommend to residents as an alternative to Friday/Saturday television or visitors looking for a night-time activity. A cord of... More

The Capitol Steps are hilarious. If you like politics you have to seem them. There are no sacred cows as they make light of both parties, countries, the Secret Service, etc. They play every Friday and Saturday evening at the Reagan Building. We would not go to Washington without going to see them.

The show was incredibly entertaining. This should be on the list of anyone visiting DC. The performers were excellent and the content was incredibly current. Go!

Just being there, on the steps of the Capitol was brilliant, the building itself is massive and looks fabulous and knowing all the things that have happened there is mind-boggling!

LIving in Annapolis, this has been on our radar for years. Took a group of out of town relatives there on December 27th and it was a hit all around. Audience ranged from 15 year old to Grandma, and politics are all over the map. Everyone thought it was very funny. Nice venue (small enough that I doubt any of... More

The Capitol Steps provide political satire in a town loaded with opportunities to mock People in Power! At a show last week, they already had incorporated a skit on Sony and the North Koreans. My only complaint is that a couple skits were a little dated. For live entertainment, tickets are pretty reasonable -- $40. Lots of good restaurants within... More

Always lame. Never funny. Nothing remotely similar to John Stewart. Just one pandering, pathetic skit after another. Their notion of fairness simply means having the same number of sketches for each political party.

There was nonstop comedy from the beginning until the end of the performance. The political humor was fantastic; however, one did not need to be overwhelmingly politically savvy to understand the jokes and innuendos made.

Capitol Steps is a comedy troupe that provides a hilarious 2 hour parody of current US politics every Friday and Saturday night at the Reagan Office Building. They sing, they dance, and do impressions of all major and not so major political figures. Not to be missed.
