Motown The Musical

Excellent historical venue, plenty of seats...you will get to know your neighbors (close seats). Overpriced concessions, but... Fabulous performance

We received tickets to this musical for our birthdays (2 days apart), and have to say that the seats (Orchestra, Row N, Seats 111-112) contributed to our enjoyment of the show. Close enough to see the expression on the performers faces, but far enough away to have a panoramic view of the entire stage (vital for the energetic choreography of... More

The stage is normal sized and there are various levels of seating. The seats are little small. The sound system is good.

I went to see Cinderella that was a great show in this perfect size venue. It was in the heart of DC. Still not understanding the sippy cup approach to the not so tasty wine sold at the concession stand.

Surely loved this theater setting for a great show. Talent amazing and our seats felt so close. Only problem was long lines to 2nd floor concessions and restrooms which seemed poorly staffed for the crowd. But the show made up for it!

Another interesting place to see in the DC area. This is one of those places not necessarily to see 1st but on the secondary list. It is worth a visit.

My friend and I went to see Cinderella here. I had bought the tickets on line for the wrong time and the box office did an awesome job exchanging them. The theater is very nice and historic. We had balcony seats which are on the 4th floor. The view from the balcony was good but there is not a lot... More

Took the wife to Cinderella for her birthday. Been to the National previously for Stomp where we sat in the Orchestra seats. This time we sat in the Mezzanine in the 6th row. Seats were confortable and site line was pretty good. Sound was intially off a little bit but got better as the show progressed. For a show like... More

We were so pleased to see Angela Lansbury in "Blithe Spirit" at the National Theatre. Charming Theatre, wonderful play and Angela Lansbury was at her stage best.

We saw Newsies here in June. The theatre looks wonderful and the sightlines from the balcony are excellent. A true classic restored!
