I have lived in DC all my life and had never been to the 930 club until last week for a concert. My wife and I chaperoned our daughter and her friend to a Friday night event. The club offers all ages shows (16 and up) and we wanted to verify the safety and environment for a 17 year old... More

This was my first time at the 9:30 Club and it was much better that I assumed it would be. The drink prices are high, but no surprise there. I went to see Jenny Lewis - got there about 45 mins early and waited in line to get in (I was probably 15th I line). Once I got in I... More

First time at the legendary 930 club! Went to see Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls! What a fantastic show. Love the size of the venue, not really a bad spot in the house. The Balcony looked like a cool place to hang out, but the floor is where it's at. The Sound was Amazing! Bars are convenient, but a... More

this place is a great way to see bigger acts play an intimate-ish venue. three bars, a second floor mezzanine. Great acoustics and low cover make this place grand.

Watched Alabama Shakes. The venue was small and intimate, but it was great. Get there early for a balcony spot. Plenty of bars to get drinks. Only one bathroom in the building.

Was able to scratch this concert venue off the bucket list. Great little spot, but easy to see why the walk up bar is not really that busy after purchasing a beer and double vodka for 24 BUCKS. Come of guys - here is a little advise, charge 5 bucks a drink and people might buy a couple more, and... More

We live in Baltimore but frequent the 930 club several times a year to see great music...our favorite band we don't miss is Dark Star. The staff is very rude. We understand that everyone (even if you're 80) must have a valid ID to get drinks but it's above and beyond to stamp two large huge blue ink stamps on... More

Had a great time here. The parking lot behind the venue is great but small. And it is a little expensive for the parking itself. I wish it was included in the cost of the ticket.

I went to see Shakey Graves on 11/15. I used to go to the old original 930 club often. The club continues to attract top names and it's not as intimate as the original one was, but it's also much cleaner and more comfortable. There's a bar in the main concert hall and also one in the basement, they have... More

I have seen several shows here from Clutch and Down (heavy rock) to Loretta Lynn and Wanda Jackson. They definitely get some great acts and the smaller, warehouse feel makes for an up close performance for the crowd as well as performers, resulting in a great concert experience. Drinks are pricey and it does get very crowded at times. There's... More
