I once took a walking tour in Bath, England that was a very blithe and humorous look at English History. I have always wondered why there was not such a tour in Washington DC. Well, the "American Scandals" Tour is the equivalent in our nations Capital – a very witty and fun tour that uses our Capital Hill's architectural monuments...

I had a great time at the American Scandals Tour today. I had gone with two of my friends and 8 other people in the group. Sean shared some amusing stories that I will remember for a long time. Although it was in the mid-20s today and it began to snow, the tour was interesting and Sean made the tour...

The DC Walkabout tour has been a standard addition to my host activities as someone who lives in DC. I recently brought guests on The Big 5 and the Arlington National tours- Both were a fantastic way to spend the afternoon. The guide has always been knowledgeable and friendly - and I especially love the laid-back feeling to the experience....

I joined a good friend to hear stories of scandal from Lafayette Square down to Pennsylvania Avenue straight to the Capitol. I've lived in DC for four years and was surprised by the number of stories our guide, Sean, shared that were new to me. The pace was easy and Sean was sensitive to the comfort of the group. Tour...

We had a great DC scandal walking tour with Sean last weekend. It was about 2.5 hours of interesting and amusing info. Would highly recommend it!
I recently did the scandal tour with several girlfriends on a Friday night. The tour guide was awesomely knowledgable and entertaining. The walk went from Lafayette Park to the Capitol. It was a great walk at a reasonable pace. I would recommend this tour to both tourists and locals alike.
I took this tour on October 6, 2012. I had a relative visiting from out of town and wanted something interesting to do besides the monuments and museums because she has been to DC many times before. I found this tour online and thought it would be fun to do. The tour was GREAT!!!! Lots of humorous tales and great...

I recently brought a group of teens and 5 adults to DC for a church festival and had scheduled a night walking tour on the mall/monuments. Not being familiar with the time needed from the metro to the meeting place, my group was about 8 min. late. Instead of the guide waiting for 10 min. he left after 5 min....

The above group placed a reservation for a regularly scheduled tNational Mall tour, of which it is and has always been our policy to wait for 5 minutes after the scheduled time before beginning the tour with the rest of the group. It is unfortunate that this group was late, however it is not the guide's fault that they showed...

Took the Scandal tour and really enjoyed it. Stopped at many notable sites starting at the White House and ending at the Capital. The stories spanned over 200 years and the guide was engaging and entertaining. It was not clear when I booked the tour that we would not start and end at the same spot - so we had...
