We took the Mt.Vernon cruise today for our anniversary. We had hoped to have an enjoyable cruise and a few hours to walk around Mt.Vernon. The cruise, its staff and the boat were all sadly disappointing! They were unable to print tickets or receipts upon our arrival. We were given hand written stubs that were then taken from us, leaving... More

Great band and great staff period. Im 28 and enjoyed all the old school music. The staff dances, the band dances. Food was also good.

On July 25, 2014 we took this cruise for our 33rd wedding anniversary and thought we would go for the top package, a fancy treat for both of us. The staff were gracious and wished us Happy Anniversary at every turn. However, we did not receive the champagne as the package promised, the Premium appetizer we were to receive was... More

We understand how frustrating this must have been and we absolutely take full responsibility for this mistake. We would really like the opportunity to talk to you on the phone about making this right. Please reach... More

This is a very good way to spend a couple of hours. Beautiful river cruise giving nice views of many of the Monuments and Memorials. Excellent brunch is served with more choices than you can imagine. Very good light jazz band provides good music for both listening and dancing pleasure. Highly recommended!

We had a "cousins reunion" recently, and one night we decided to take a river cruise. The cruise includes dinner. Drinks are extra. The food was excellent. I had a crab cake appetizer, and short ribs. All of the food was excellent. The cruise starts off heading down the Potomac, then comes back past DC. It began about 8 p.m.... More

When you're entertaining family for the 4th of July and they really want that unique DC experience, this was a real parent pleaser. We arrived at the earliest listed boarding time and got one of the limited parking spots available in their lot at the waterfront. The band, wait staff, and hors d'oeuvres and desserts were great. Of the entrees,... More

First the food; If you're vegetarian, stay away. Options were sub-par by far. I'd hit the salad instead of the Baked Fromage which is just tomato sauce with three pieces of bread and a bit of goat cheese. The Vegetable Tower was bland and cold. The only redeeming grace was the bread pudding but I shouldn't have to have had... More

Through Shenandoah Tours in Staunton, Va., we purchased a bus ride to D.C., a Potomac river cruise, and a trip to the Air and Space museum at Dulles. The Odyssey Cruise was beyond fantastic. The boat has wall and ceilings made of glass so as to give gorgeous views of Washington. We were among the last to arrive for lunch,... More

My wife and I took her parents on a Friday night cruise to celebrate their anniversary. Overall, we had a splendid time, but just to provide a bit more color on the experience: On the positive side, we thought the service was excellent. From the very start, it was very convenient to be able to park in the gated area... More

I called them directly to book and had no problems. The cruise was scheduled for 2-4pm on Easter, but we were told to get there by 1:15. They have limited free parking if you get there early enough. We got there about 12:45 and easily got free parking. (Parking anywhere in DC is usually very expensive. Even hotels charge $30-40/night!).... More
