AWESOME way to see the Monuments and Burn some Energy with Kids!

We had an AMAZING experience doing the Sunset Bike Tour of the Monuments. With two boys, 10 and 13, they loved it as much as we did and were able to burn off a lot of energy. The city is super accessible to bikers and it wasn't strenuous. Just pure enjoyment and really educational.

Capital City Bike Tours was the highlight of our trip to DC. We were able to see the Jefferson Memorial, The FDR Memorial, The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, The WWII Memorial and The Vietnam Memorial, all in two hours. That would have been impossible to do on foot or by car. Our tour guide was awesome. The kids are... More

Despite the near freezing temps, My Guide John led a fascinating tour through DC's highlights. From the White House, to the monuments and the national Mall, this is a fabulous way to see the best of DC's sights in a short time. I learned things I didn't know at every. For me seeing the memorials was a highlights especially the... More

Only reason not full marks is it was sometimes difficult to hear the guide. Best way to cover the distances along the Mall and hear the stories

Rory our guide was fun and informative. Segways are the only way to tour. it was so easy to get up close to everything and not tire ourselves out. This was our second city toured on a Segway. We plan to ride one every time we travel.

My aunt and I had so much fun touring the monuments in DC. It hurts for her to walk distances so seeing the monuments seemed almost impossible. Her daughter informed us of the segway tour. We were able to see the monuments within a short time without having to walk all day. It took us a few moments to get... More

This is easily the best way to see DC and was one of our favorite parts of our trip. The bike route is flat, easy-to-ride, family-friendly and incredibly scenic. Seeing the city this way is magical. Can't recommend it enough.

This was a memorable moment in our family vacation of DC and the absolute best way to see the monuments. While the monuments are all "on the mall", the distance between them adds up quick. With a bike tour, you can get around to each and enjoy the sights, sounds and overall beauty of the area, along the way. Bikes... More

It was wonderful to visit important places in DC in a bike, 3 speed it's more than enough, didn't liked the lock, kind of difficult to use it and if a bag it's added to the bike would be nice

I have never written a review for anything before, but this tour was so great i had to! We found the location easily for the start of the tour, had a quick lunch before, and then began the tour. This is my husbands first trip to America and my second time to Washinton DC, but this was a highlight! Our... More
