I would recommend taking the bike tour. It wasn't tiring and we were able to see all of the major monuments and attractions. Both my nine year old and my 22 year old really enjoyed the tour as well. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and super friendly. A little pricey but totally worth it!

Great way to see the sights over a 3 hour period. The guide was knowledgeable and although Washington wasn't as cycle friendly as other cities we've been to it was a great afternoon. Worth doing early on in your trip to get a feel of what you want to see in depth later in your stay

My family took the daytime bike tour (OEOB, Capitol Hill, White House, Washington and Jefferson monuments, and more). It was the highlight of the trip, just like when our scout troop took the night bike tour a couple years ago. Do both, if you have time. Great guides (thanks, Ringo!) who give a fun and informative tour.

Enjoyed renting bikes for the day. Managed to get to the waterfront in Georgetown- enjoyed lunch- then rode bike path to the memorials and around the tidal basin. Very busy holiday weekend. Much preferred by teenage son to walking to everywhere. Friendly service, very helpful.

Looking for a way to visit all the monuments without all the walking, we decided to try the Capital City Bike Tour. Our guide for the tour was Tom. He did an excellent job of giving the history and interesting facts for each of the monuments we visited while on the tour. This is a great way to learn about... More

We had a great experience with Capital City bike tours in Washington DC. The guide, Ringo, knew a lot of history and was very enthusiastic. We definitely had a great time and will repeat it for sure!! It´s the best way to know this city!! Our kids had a great time too!

This was the favorite tour of my teenagers. Andrew was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. We did the 5 hour tour that included Arlington cemetery. This beats sitting on a bus or trying to walk all the monuments.

We have done bike tours before so were keen to try it in Washington DC. We were not disappointed! We had Lexi as our tour guide and she was fantastic. Very knowledgable and friendly. We did the 5 hour tour which included Arlington. I highly recommend doing this one. It is a great combination of riding, which is pretty easy... More

This was a great way to see the monuments, especially those that are a bit further away to reach on foot. We did the sunset tour which was good because it wasn't too hot. Our guide was very friendly and able to answer all of our questions and DC is really easy and safe to bike around. Highly recommend.

Whether you are short on time or have just arrived in D.C. you should consider taking one of these tours. You'll hit most of the monuments in 3 hours and can then decide which ones you'd like to return to. We took the sunset bike tour to avoid the sun/heat and we discovered what a treat it was to see...
