I had a great time on my segs in the city tour! Being new to the city, it was great to see the monuments from the point of view of a segway. The greatest part of the tour was our tour guide, Matt R.! Matt was so knowledgable, funny, and made everyone feel super comfortable on the Segways. If you... More

I loved my tour with Segs and the City & Matt as my guide. As someone who recently moved to DC, but hadn't done the "tourist-y" stuff since childhood, I had a great time re-learning about the monuments and sites. Not to mention learning how to ride a segway was pretty fun, and it was a surprisingly warm fall day!... More

Riding a segway was such a cool way to see the monuments. I live in DC and I never had an experience quite like this. The tour guide Matt was so knowledgeable about all of the different sites and I learned so much, like why the Washington Monument is two different colors. Matt taught us how to ride our segways... My wife and I recently visited Washington DC for a few days. After spending a couple days walking we decided to check out Segs in the City as we did a segway trip in the Bahamas and we really enjoyed it. The outfitter charged $45 for a 1.5 hour tour. There was an extra $5 charge for insurance so the... More

What a great way to tour the monuments! We went on the 2.5 hour tour. Our tour guide, John, was fun and knowledgeable. Y We got to stop at the some of the monuments for pictures and sightseeing. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to see the sights without a lot of walking.

I recently made a pleasure trip to DC and was talked into taking a tour with Segs in the City. I have some leg endurance issues ( I'm over 60) and was quite apprehensive about doing this. The day arrived and it was chilly and drizzling rain. Oh, no! After a little searching around, we found their office. We were... More

Two friends and I (2 of us DC locals) decided to treat ourselves to a first-time Segway tour of some of DC's highlights. We opted for an hour ride which was just enough for us first-timers. Thoroughly enjoyed tooling down the bike lane of Pennsylvania Ave during evening rush hour. Scooting around the Capitol and getting to say "hi" to... More

A friend and I travelled to Washington DC in the 2nd week of september and a month or so before arriving we booked the DC Safari (2 hour segway tour) online. The office was quite hard to find but eventually we saw a sign leading to the office. On arriving, we checked in and found out we were the only... More

Segs in the City is WELL worth the money! Our group went on teh 5:30 tour on Friday evening which fortunately no one else was on... a private tour to ourselves! We learned so much about the area. Chester our guide started us at the EPA building and gave us a detailed explanation of buildings and history all the way... More
