I recently made a pleasure trip to DC and was talked into taking a tour with Segs in the City. I have some leg endurance issues ( I'm over 60) and was quite apprehensive about doing this. The day arrived and it was chilly and drizzling rain. Oh, no! After a little searching around, we found their office. We were... More

Two friends and I (2 of us DC locals) decided to treat ourselves to a first-time Segway tour of some of DC's highlights. We opted for an hour ride which was just enough for us first-timers. Thoroughly enjoyed tooling down the bike lane of Pennsylvania Ave during evening rush hour. Scooting around the Capitol and getting to say "hi" to... More

A friend and I travelled to Washington DC in the 2nd week of september and a month or so before arriving we booked the DC Safari (2 hour segway tour) online. The office was quite hard to find but eventually we saw a sign leading to the office. On arriving, we checked in and found out we were the only... More

Segs in the City is WELL worth the money! Our group went on teh 5:30 tour on Friday evening which fortunately no one else was on... a private tour to ourselves! We learned so much about the area. Chester our guide started us at the EPA building and gave us a detailed explanation of buildings and history all the way... More

A "Capitol Tour" - first time on a Segway and first time to see many of the attractions close up!!! Matt was a great instructor and tour guide - fun sense of humor, very knowledgeable. The group was just the right size (6). Matt takes good photos, too, and that was a nice plus. They have several different tours, and... More

Thanks to Matt we had a brilliant twilight tour of the Mall and the monuments. We would thoroughly recommend seeing them this way as it saves a lot of driving and shoe leather.

My tour guide from segs in the city, Adam, was friendly, helpful, and pretty funny which made the tour that much better. Adam even stopped and bought me a bottle of water half way through the tour. He even took my pictures on my phone for me every stop. The tour its self was amazing but the staff on top... More

I cannot stress enough how much we enjoyed our DC tour courtesy of Segs in the City. We are a family of four ( 2x teenage kids) and we covered everything we wanted to see in a fantastic 3 hour trip. Once John, our guide, had accustomed us to the uses of the Segway, it was plain sailing. It took... More

This is a great way to see the city at your own pace and not get tired. What we liked about it is that you have flexibility and customization. There were 4 of us. We could stay longer at a place or shorter. Tour guide Matt was knowledgeable. Wife was surprised when he told us he was a recent hire.... More
