The "Soldiers on Patrol" aspect of the Memorial is inspired and amazing. The Korean War Veterans Memorial really surprised me on my tour of the Mall- I didn't really know what to expect but I walked away thrilled that I was able to experience it. I wish I could see the wall images at night or dusk as others have... More

This memorial is amazing.. Don't miss it. There is a reflecting wall with heads of soldiers and you can see the reflection of the life size figures on the wall. I'm so glad I saw it. It is near the Vietnam memorial and Lincoln memorial.

A number of life sized statues of men from many countries alongside a wall with etchings on it. Humbled.

This somber memorial so lately built is very well done and portrays the somber tones that surrounded the Korean conflict. The statues of the soldiers walking in bad weather really speaks volumes about the conditions during the conflict.

This Memorial is very close to the Lincoln Memorial. It includes a dramatic representation of soldiers on patrol, as well as a wall. Unlike the Vietnam War Memorial wall, this one includes portraits of soldiers that seem to come out of the granite. It's a very powerful expression. I strongly recommend that every visitor to Washington consider this a "must... More

This is probably the most creative memorial I have ever seen. I has to be experienced. I had never heard about it, but no one should miss it.

First time I had seen this Memorial and it was very powerful...a must see. There is a long granite wall that has pictures of those lost etched in the wall...it is very subtle...but seeing pictures of those lost was very powerful.

Very interesting to see. A different kind of memorial. Actually shows statues of fighting men in Korea.

Very artfully designed memorial features life-size figures and live foliage along with a reflecting wall and serene water element. Note to inveterate coin-tossers - that's discouraged at all ponds and fountains as it causes damage to the structures. And wading, of course, is prohibited because it's disrespectful.
