My husband and I only had one full day in DC and wanted to see as much as we could. The trolley took us to every tourist site, plus some, that we could possibly imagine. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. Well worth the cost and saved us HOURS of walking! I would recommend this to everyone! more

Very knowledgeable tour guides. They made the tour fun, informative, and they got everyone involved. Not only did they know all the "scoop" going on in DC in the past, they knew everything going on in the present. No question too tough. This was a great experience. The trolley took us all over town, allowed us to unload and board as needed. We are able to see most of DC without needing to pay extra for a taxi. We took the day trip to Georgetown and it was so interesting. Our guides pointed out so many things we would have overlooked. The amount of embassies is astounding and our guide rattled them off at warp speed! The Monuments At Moonlight tour is a MUST! To see these at night is very moving and powerful. My husband, nine-year old son and I had a great time on the Old Town Trolley Tours! It poured rain and was freezing cold due to a noreaster that blew through DC, but the entire staff maintained good spirits and had smiles on their faces. I was very hesitant about the Trolley since a lot of the reviews said there was a long wait time. But to my surprise we waited on an average 15 minutes every time and everyone who waited was able to get on. We toured the DC area with a couple elderly relatives and wanted a way to get to the various monuments and sites on the Mall, as well as to Georgetown and National Cathedral, without making them walk too far. We had a good time and it certainly saved us a ton of walking but the day after our tour we discovered we could have had a 2 day tour from the tour bus originating from Arlington Nat'l Cematery. I would recommend that one instead. more
