After our disinterested 5 year-old started dozing off at the American History Museum (which we loved), an early nap was quickly averted once we went to the BUGS exhibit. My kids loved it and so did I! We hit 4 attractions In the area and we loved each on - air and space, natural history, the castle and the national gallery of art. The phrase, "National Treasure" is so overused, but honestly applies here. One of the beauties of the museums is that there is something for everyone. Some are certainly better than others- the Air & Space can't be missed but if I were to choose between the Museum of Natural History in NYC and the Smithsonian's version I would go with... More
