Make a splash in our Nation’s Capital aboard the DC Ducks, 1942 amphibious transport vehicles used to support and carry troops during World War II. Today they are a great way to see Washington by both land and sea. Winding our way first through the monuments, the Mall, the Capitol and museums of the Smithsonian before splashing into the Potomac and under the flight path at Reagan National Airport. Its fun for all ages!

Fun way to see the city! My older sister is a big kid at heart and really wanted to take this tour. It did turn out to be a lot of fun, but I don't think I would pay for this tour again.

I went on the duck tour with my two young sons. It was lots of fun viewing the sites from a historic vehicle. My four-year old liked steering the boat in the water. Both of my children enjoyed the quackers that they were given. I liked all the history and knowledge from our guide. My only aggravation was redeeming the... More

DC Ducks is a great way to see the city. The show you all of the major landmarks and you get to see the city by land and water. The tour guide was entertaining and wasn't boring to listen to.

We did this tour for my son's 13th birthday while visiting DC. We all loved it. Captain Forrest was very knowledgeable and very considerate of everyone's comfort and enjoyment. There is no ac and if it rains they provide ponchos but you will get wet. I definitely recommend this tour if you have kids, they will love it.

We had Captain Jim on our tour and we were very happy. His narration was entertaining and he engaged the passengers and made it fun. We especially liked hanging out in the Potomac underneath the arriving planes. I recommend this tour for anybody visiting DC.

This is a definite must outing when your are visiting D.C. The tour guide gave such an overview of historic sites in D.C. as we travel from Union Station to the dock to get into the water for the water tour. The water tour was wonderful and relaxing to sail down the Potomac River as the guide spoke of the... More

My family of 5 (3 teenage boys) LOVED this tour! We had already walked around the memorials and seen them up close so it was great to ride on the Duck and see them on the driving portion but what we really loved was the boat part! Great river view of DC....Awesome ride by airport as jets buzzed over our... More

Our family of 6 (including 2 children) took a DC duck tour upon arriving in DC. It was lots of fun! The tour guide was knowledgable and interesting. It helped us get a sense of how the national mall and surrounding area is set up. We waited only about 15 minutes for the tour to start. The tour is 30... More

Fun, but, I was hoping there was more to see from the Duck when on the Potomac. That's the only reason I didn't rate excellent. A must-do if you have kids, for sure. The tour drives around the city on the way to the water launch, and our captain, Steve, was very knowledgable and humorous, and pointed out a lot... More

We had been sightseeing for a week in DC and the kids were getting a little tired of museums, mansions, memorials and monuments. When we started the tour and the guide is showing us things of interest downtown, they looked like" here we go again." Then the jeep went in the water and they were thrilled. The captain was so...
