Today they are a great way to see Washington by both land and sea. Winding our way first through the monuments, the Mall, the Capitol and museums of the Smithsonian before splashing into the Potomac and under the flight path at Reagan National Airport. Its fun for all ages! « less

My friend and I live in DC and wanted to have a touristy day before she moves. The hometown pass made the DC Duck tour an easy decision. Tickets were easy to purchase. The tour started on time. Our tour guide was funny and very informed. It was a different kind of tour that was fun even for people who... More

This tour is a unique way to see some of the memorials and get a general tour of DC. The tour guide is what makes the experience so enjoyable. The tour lasts about 90 minutes. Pre-book online or get your tickets at Union Station. This tour did not appear to be wheelchair accessible. Plenty of opportunities to take great photos,... More

Whether visiting Washington D.C. for the first time or the fiftieth, or resident who's curious about a big-picture rundown of the city, "D.C. Ducks" tour is even more fun than it is educational. You see all the major downtime highlights, comfortably seated. Amphibious vehicle combines the more traditional bus portion of tour with Potomac River cruise past these sights plus... More

The DC Duck tour was a very quick and fun way to see highlights of some of the city's main attractions. We drove by the White House, Capital, the Washington Monument and a few memorials, as well as the museums and federal buildings. Splashing down in the Potomac was fun and entertaining as well. Our Capt. Kent was pretty funny... More

The DC Ducks Tour offers a unique and effortless way to see and learn about the nation's capitol. I live here but learned as much as my daughter and middle school grandchildren as we meandered trhough the city streets and chugged along the Potomac. The children loved taking turns at the helm. Captain Bob's stories about local landmarks brought history... More

Ten of us took the tour and enjoyed every aspect: uniqueness, driver explanations (and jokes, not too many; just right), friendliness. I've been to DC often, even lived in close-by Maryland, but still found this 1-1/2 hour experience equal to a seeing a concert for the price and the enjoyment. Everyone will remember this tour.

This looked so fun and a way for my kids to see some of the city. Much to our disappointment, we saw one landmark (The White House). The duck captain pointed out a few random spots that were of zero interest. Once we hit the water, he spent the entire rest of the tour talking about how much boats cost... More

First and foremost, let me apologize for the experience you had with our tour. As you pointed out, the DC Duck tour is not about the price of yachts in the Potomac but about the the history and sights of our nation's capital. I can assure you I will be sharing your comments with our entire DC Duck team so... More

An easy and different way to see the sights in D.C. The driver was interesting and it was fun to go from the streets into the Potomac River. While on the river, it was exciting to have planes coming in to land at Regan Airport right over your head!

The "Duck Tour" in Boston/Cambridge, MA is awesome because of all the time you spend in the water and they take you on the Freedom Trail. Thinking it would be similar, we took the tour in DC. Basically, I guess my beef is with DC. There's not too much to see driving the town, you should actually go into the... More

We had been on the Boston Duck Tour 15 years ago, so we kind of knew what a good time to expect & Captain Jimmy V. didn't disappoint. We called in the morning about seeing if we could get a ticket, but were told to go and buy it there if they had any openings, we were one of the... More
