Owner description: Make a splash in our Nation’s Capital aboard the DC Ducks, 1942 amphibious transport vehicles used to support and carry troops during World War II. Today they are a great way to see Washington by both land and sea. Winding our way first through the monuments, the Mall, the Capitol and museums of the Smithsonian before splashing into the Potomac and under the flight path at Reagan National Airport. Its fun for all ages!

This was a fun and different way to see DC, not great if you want to hop and and off, but if you have limited time its a good option to see some of the city, and if you love planes being under the landing path of Reagan National airport while in the water is a bit of a buzz... More

We booked this duck tour before we came on holiday after our first experience in Boston we had to do one in Washington DC! The tour lasted about 90 minutes (which flew by) and went past the majority of the monuments. The tour also includes a a trip down the Potomac River to see DC from the water, the Captain... More

This was such a great experience. We took the 4pm tour and our Captain was extremely knowledgeable. We learned a great deal on this trip about Washington DC. We went by a lot of monuments and buildings and it was awesome to have a half hour on the river.

We debated on doing different tours in DC and I'm glad we choice the DC Duck tour. It was 90 minutes long, which was a perfect time for me. Any longer and I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much. The driver had a lot of energy, and was very informative. One of the big time was to... More

I had a wonderful time riding with the duck tour! Best of all was the captain who made sure we get to know our nation's Capitol more with also a lot of humor. Captain Kent went above and beyond with the tour and even let a precious little boy drive the duck on the water! It's a must do! Worth... More

This tour gave us a different perspective on typical D.C. sightseeing. Not only do you get an overview of the city's popular attractions via streets, but you go across the river into the Potomac to view outlying attractions like the Pentagon and Reagan airport from the water. Our weather was great for this open air 'duck' vehicle which drives on... More

What a great experience. Captain Kent made the tour. We learned so much about DC and had a a lot of fun doing it. We even got to see a statue of Captain Kent with his shirt off. Seeing DC from the water was worth the trip. We spent 8 days on our stay in DC. This will be the... More

This is a 1-1/2 hour. One hour on land and 1/2 hour on the water. The "Duck" passes by many of the standard visitor sites (does not stop) and then heads for the water. Our driver was very informative and funny. Would go again.

Capt. Kent was a blast. He is knowledgeable about the area, has a great sense of humor, very polite, and a safe driver/boat captain. Even as a local, I saw some things and heard some facts I had not seen or heard before. Buying tickets online was no problem. The only thing that was not made clear was you have... More

Went on the tour twice. Both times were almost the same, these tour guides know so much about D.C. I would highly recommend the tour. the ride up the Potomac River was awesome.
