Today they are a great way to see Washington by both land and sea. Winding our way first through the monuments, the Mall, the Capitol and museums of the Smithsonian before splashing into the Potomac and under the flight path at Reagan National Airport. Its fun for all ages! « less

We had been on the Boston Duck Tour 15 years ago, so we kind of knew what a good time to expect & Captain Jimmy V. didn't disappoint. We called in the morning about seeing if we could get a ticket, but were told to go and buy it there if they had any openings, we were one of the... More

We decided to do a Duck tour to relax and take in some history. Our guide was humorous and told very interesting facts and stories about landmarks in DC. No matter how many times you have been to DC, I'm sure you will learn something new, as we did. It was a beautiful day and the water tour was lovely... More

We are from England and I have 4 children who have all studied history. When we where on the tour it felt like the person taking the tour didn't have much to say so they made it up and it was a lot of crap really !! Also it really upset my children how rude he was about the British... More

The tour on Lucky Duck exceeded our expectations. Captain Franklin was very knowledgable, lively, & humorous. My mother-in-law actually took notes & my sons had a blast. My family truly enjoyed the tour. I would highly recommend the tour to all.

Love the Duck tours! Captain Jimmy was very knowledgeable about Washington DC historic buildings and museums. He had a dry sense of humor. I think many missed out on fun in his jokes but my husband and I enjoyed riding with him very much. I feel this tour is well worth the money which is $39 per person. You can... More

This tour is fun and an easy way to get a general idea of where places of interest are located, and to hear fun and historic facts about the city. Franklin the driver went above and beyond to make all the passengers happy.

Our driver was great, very informative. He was also very good at pointing out good picture spots. Most of the items pointed out on the tour are the Smithsonian Museum Buildings. I anticipated viewing the monuments and hearing information about them. We drove by the Lincoln Memorial and nothing was said about it. The ride on the river was ok,... More

Our live guide Captain Rob would have been an excellent bus tour guide. His knowledge, personality, and sense of humor made the 90 minute tour fly by. But the "Duck," an open sided amphibious World War II surplus truck, gave the superb tour an unforgettable twist and made the tour feel much more intimate than a bus tour would have... More

Informative but disappointing. I have done several Duck tours which are supposed to be fun and interacting with music; props and of course the history but at times this tour was boring. It was $36.95 which was expense compared to the other Duck tours that I have done.
