Today they are a great way to see Washington by both land and sea. Winding our way first through the monuments, the Mall, the Capitol and museums of the Smithsonian before splashing into the Potomac and under the flight path at Reagan National Airport. Its fun for all ages! « less

The tour was overbooked, we had to wait for a second group, for more than an hour. Our guide was very knowledgeable but a bit too much. It got very boring with so much information and for children it was not very enjoyable.

1st time to DC and the duck tour gave us a great overview. And our duck craft served in the Normandy invasion which added to the experience. 30 minutes to the water in which we saw a great deal. Captain had a story for each museum instead of just naming the individual buildings. The water was a highlight for the... More

So brought my mom to DC and new this was a great way to get a layout of city and good views from the Potomac. FYI, #1 Union Station is a very busy place, arrive even before the 30 min window as it took our extra 30 mins to get into parking and down elevator and to the front of... More

With family in town we wanted to do a fun tour that was suitable for both children and adults. DC Duck Tour was a hit! While on land, we hit major attractions DC has to offer and then when the vehicle changed into a boat, we were crusing on Potomac River. The captain was very knowledgable and funny! I highly... More

Got to see monuments and a cruise on the Potomac River. Very informative guide who gave a lot of good information which made for an interesting tour.

Our duck tour was so much fun! The captain was funny, well informed, and made sure everyone was able to participate with trivia questions and even opportunities for the kids to drive the boat in the Potomac! My family and I learned so much about the history of D.C. - about things we never would have thought to question. I... More

This was our first Duck tour and found that it was a refreshing way to spend a couple of hours touring DC in the heat of summer. It was very easy to locate the tour desk at Union Station (a beautiful attraction in itself) after arriving on the Metro from Vienna, VA. It was the day after Independence Day and... More

We toured DC on the Ducks with our daughter and grandchildren. THe tour included downtown and the Potomac River. The captain was great and kept the tour alive for both young and old. What a great tour and lots of great memories.

Okay so here is the deal. The cost of the trip is very worthwhile. You get a nice long tour with a great captain. The tour includes downtown the river and part of virginia about 2 hours. It is relaxing and I nice break from walking downtown. I would recommend that you do this as soon as you get to... More

I've lived in DC most of my life, but still had a very fun time on a DC Ducks tour this week. I did the tour with my father-in-law (age 73), teenage son (16), and a visiting cousin (age 13, the reason for the trip), and every one of us had fun. The first half of the trip (on land)... More
