I thought I knew a lot of my history, especially on the night President Lincoln was killed...however, after walking on this tour, I certainly learned so much more. Chris, the guide was excellent!!! It was like listening to a story teller "eye witness", that was actually there in 1865. I highly recommend this to everyone and intend to go again,... More

We took the Georgetown Ghost Tour on a Saturday night with Andrew. I've been on a couple of 'Ghost Tours' before, and this one is entertaining and, depending on your willingness to go along with the shtick, spooky fun. The guide did a good job of herding the group along to his speaking points, but the walking is rushed because... More

This tour was excellent!! The tour guide was very passionate about the history of dc which made the Lincoln Assassination tour feel as though it happened yesterday. I loved every second of the tour and would recommend it to everyone! The tour company told me that they are considering creating a tour called "Assassination Nation" and talking about other assassinations... More

My husband and I took the Lincoln Assassination Tour and we were just facinated by the story of Lincoln's last day. We even got to go to the back of Ford's Theater to see where John Wilkes Booth made his escape. Our guide Jim was very professional and extremely knowledgable,

Great tours for DC tourists and locals as well. The tours definitely add to your overall DC experience. I highly reccomend the Lincoln Assasination and Georgetown Ghost tour to anyone because of the extensive information and fantastic storytelling.

I was referred by City by Foot to the Georgetown Ghost Tour given by Mobiletours. The name of the company is due to their free cell phone tour of DC monuments. I was very pleased with the recommendation, so I took their Lincoln tour the following night. Very well scripted tours. The ghost tour guide was very creepy and that... More

While I loved the idea and the information of this tour there were some logistical issues that made it less than stellar. First off, our group was so large we had to be divided. One section went with the older gentleman (Wiley, I believe) who had a microphone head set on to amplify his voice. The other gentleman, who led... More

As a traveler who has been frequently dragged along on tours, I went into this with little hope for an interesting evening. Boy was I wrong! I ended up enjoying every minute of ti. The guide was informative and friendly - and a great story teller as well. I came away turning the assassination story over in my head, amazed... More

WOW - I had no idea the plot for the Lincoln Assination was so complex and that there were several attempts foiled! Amazingly interesting - LOVED IT - guide was very enthusiastic and made you feel like the whole thing happened yesterday. MUST DO!

I didn't know what to expect when I went on this tour. I've been on a lot of historical walking tours, in Washington and elsewhere, and I think this one was the most fun and informative, thanks to the energetic guides. They seemed like two college kids who just happen to have devoured everything ever written about Pres. Lincoln's assassination.... More
