The boat and staff were very nice. The DJ did a good job as well. My Karaoke friends felt there should be more Karoke and less dancing. I didn't mind as I'm not a huge Karaoke person. The main caution I'd like to give is the food. The tickets said buffet so I made sure I didn't eat. There was... More

Booked this event thru Groupon for half price ($20). The boat was fine and the event was entertaining. Two drink tix afforded you the choice of beer, wine (bad wine) or a rum punch. Food was available for purchase (no free snacks as the ad implied). Lots of people did karaoke (bad karaoke)! Overall it was something different to do... More

The greatest way to take a break from the normal tourist trudge. The cruises are relaxing and picturesque. They have a variety of vessels for their cruises. The Captain was friendly and courteous. One of the other benefits of this particular location is its proximity to the water front seafood markets where you can pickup some fresh seafood or cooked ready to eat.

Excellent cruise. Yes, the blossoms were few but the boat trip was awesome. A marvelous way to see our DC a different way. The crew were very efficient, the boat was very clean and our narrator was excellent. A wonderful way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon!

No cherry blossoms--well there WERE 4 trees in bloom--but the crew was awesome. The cruise was wonderful and even though there weren't too many trees in bloom, there were other trees in leaf (Willows, etc) and the sites/narration were very well done. We were thrilled with the the trip in spite of seeing few blossoms. The company offers private charters,... More

The crew was very hospitable and the charter actually accomdated my need for a tour that did not fit the living social schedule.

Thankfully I got my tickets through Living Social & paid a fraction of the ticket price, otherwise I would be quite upset. We took the cruise during the Cherry Blossom festival & saw hardly a blossom. I live here - the rest of the city is in full bloom. Also, we saw almost no monuments. I don't think you can... More

Cruise itself was ok, but food was pretty bad -- cheese cubes, crackers, veggies, cookies. No tour info provided by speaker during the cruise. Just up and down the Potomac 3-4 times. Parking was good ($15) but no info was provided in advance so we were pretty anxious about this as we arrived just in time due to very bad... More

First, booking this cruise through website is very very expensive and you would find the same cruise available in groupon for half the price..So, if at all daring to take this cruise, check out all possible deals and options. You may be able to find some good ones definitely. Now, once you have booked the cruise, it is extremely difficult... More

We went on the Virginia Jewel yacht for the Cherry Blossom Cruise on 4/7/13 to celebrate my mom's birthday. I got a good deal from Groupon for 1/2 off the ticket (original is $40 + 3.14 admin fee and I only paid $20). First of all, I thought it was a bit expensive for it to be only an hour... More
