Massanutten is a nice family mountain. The conditions were good due to the extensive snowmaking and grooming capabilities. The staff is friendly. Equipment and lessons are available. The terrain is mainly beginner and intermediate. Even the black diamonds would be considered intermediate at many areas. The runs are relatively short; the longest trail is only 4,100 ft long. The lifts... More

So much to do all around this whole resort for families. Restaurants-Hideaway lounge-the burgers were way overdone, participated in trivia night and it was fun, server fine; Fairway restaurant-one of the best meals I ever had. We all enjoyed our meals even thought it was quite pricey it was an enjoyable meal. They did stick us in a back room... More

A beautiful place is beautiful Virginia. We stayed inn Regal Estates, gated community. Phenomenal accommodations! Pristeen decor...the spa tub even had colored lights! Everything you could possibly want or need...exceptional.

If you have ever visited the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, you couldn't miss Massanutten Mountain. It's like being in Washington, D.C., and not seeing the Washington Monument. Or visiting New York City and missing the Statue of Liberty. Massanutten is a 50-mile-long, six-mile-wide mountain range of ancient sandstone contained within the broad valley of the Shenandoah River. It bisects the... More

The resort has so much to offer both for children & adults. The scenery is breath taking. A family can rent a hotel room, time share, private homes, or condo. Again variety on the resort is fantastic. We stayed for 5 days & had a family reunion.

Normally we stay in a Summit unit or a Woodstone unit close to the pool. These units are condos - 1 or 2 bedrooms, 1 or 2 bathrooms, partial or full kitchen. When I booked this year I signed up for a Woodstone 1 bedroom thinking it would be a condo nearer the pool. When I checked in I was... More

I was not expecting the place to be as large as it was. It seemed like the corporation owned the whole mountain but for those who are comfortable in such places it may be the perfect spot, with golfing, a water park, downhill skiing, nearby hiking and its own police presence, which I found rather odd. There appeared to be... More

The history that surrounds this mountain was amazing. It was the lookout and signaling place for the confederate army watching the union troop movements in the valley. It was also the signal mountain over to the Shenandoah range. Gorgeous views of everything everywhere

I got the call to go to Massanutten for the timeshare tour. They offered me a gift card and a free stay in exchange for a "90" minute tour. The tour was more like 180 minutes but i actually found it painless, we were scheduled at 8 am and we were out of the tour building by 11 am. My... More

Took the ski lift to the top, which runs only Sun and Wed in the off season. It was absolutely beautiful and well worth the $7. You can take a short walk at the top to the very peak and the views are incredible. I loved it.
