Just returned from a 4-day motorcycle trip through western NC and eastern TN to see some seasonal wonderfulness. If I had to do it over, I would NEVER have included Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg in my itinerary. US321 was a totally clogged artery, forcing me to experience the non-stop pancake houses, carney rides, and every man-made nightmare invention that, in total, is... More

We stayed in a cabin with the river just behind us. It was so beautiful and the sound was very relaxing! We tried to fish but the water was to low. Still a great place to go to relax or picnic.

It's the Little Pigeon River that's in Pigeon Forge. There is no possibility of taking a photo with a raft full of people on whitewater on the Little Pigeon River. No one in their right mind comes in any contact with the Little Pigeon. It has been polluted, mostly with fecal matter, for many, many years. This is true for... More

Simply beautiful! My grandson had a blast playing in the water and to tell the truth, the rest of my family did also. A tread way to relax.

The best part of the Smokies is the Pigeon River with waters as clear as crystal and trout swimming in plain sight. I love the river so much that I almost always stay at a place that has a view of it from the balcony.

Out of the three outfits we saw providing white water rafting in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, Smokey Mountain Outdoors was the best one of them. We drove about 45 - 50 minutes from the resort to their place off I-40 in Hartford. We got our gear, taken to the Pigeon River and had a great time. The guide was knowledgeable... More

We came here years ago and really liked the area for its quaintness. What a difference a few years make. Pigeon Forge and its sister town, Gatlinburg have morphed into congested cities with all the bad things that come with a big city. There were thousands and thousands of cars on the main route through the towns. We went to... More

It never gets old, love watching the kids in their innertubes, the water falls rushing over the big rocks. Love listening to it roar.
