The Belcourt offers the best variety of films in Nashville. They play classic films almost every week along with independent and foreign films in current release. They also have Saturday morning matinees of family films at reduced prices. We bought a membership at the Belcourt and it offered terrific perks - reduced ticket prices and concessions, along with a free... More

The Belcourt is a piece of Nashville/Film history. Great indie films. Great staff that is very energetic and helpful. The concession stand has some awesome snacks and a very good collection of craft beers. They often have special events there. I've also taken my daughter to the Saturday morning kids events. The Belcourt is a "must" while in Nashville!

The first movie I saw at the Belcourt was the first Raiders movie around 1980. There are two theaters, one large and one smaller with different movies to choose from. It now is a 501(c) 3 and shows a lot of the limited run movies you won't find anywhere else. We just watched the Brian Wilson movie Love and Mercy... More

Went to the Belcourt to see the Mystery Science Theater guys, Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett, riff Sharknado 2. The guys were spot on funny as usual, but either the AC was broken or they don't have any; it was so hot and humid in the theater that even the performers were getting overheated. Beautiful theater on the... More

I visited this theater with friends and family for the first time. It was a wonderful establishment filled with history. Great matinee prices and great concession options. The popcorn was delicious. This theater is definitely worth a visit!!! They will provide a parking pass for the lot next door when you purchase tickets. Just ask.

They get these great shows, but they could work a little harder on climate control, and the seats are only modestly comfortable.

Classic movie viewing at it's best. A fantastic place to grab a bag of popcorn, glass of wine and take in an independent film, foreign film or any movie that sparks your interest. I can't get over the size the theaters, I had an expectation that they would be small and intimate but boy was a wrong. What a great... More

The Belcourt Theater is Nashville's nonprofit arthouse movie theater. Go there to see an foreign films, movies that haven't yet (and may never) see wide release, or old favorites. There are some restaurants and bars in the surrounding neighborhood, so it's easy to go down there and make a night of it.

This is not your typical theater. The concessions consist of the normal AND lovely things like adult beverages & pita chips with hummus.
