This theater is essential to Nashville's ascendence as an "A" entertainment industry market. The independent films are unique and the theater is a great experience. The Academy Award event is a fun way to enjoy the awards and support the Belcourt!

This is the best cinema in Nashville, and has been for years. When I visit I try to always come by the Belcourt.

I have been going to Belcourt for years and thoroughly enjoy it as a movie theater, playhouse and live music venue. The events/shows are always affordable and offer a eclectic variety of both independent and mainstream entertainment choices. The Olde World Theatre Company plays are my particular favorite. They serve beer but are a very family friendly environment. Located close... More

In the heart of Hillsboro Village in Nashville is a theatre that not only shows "artsy" films but current headliners and perhaps other movies that were the background to the current hot hit. They hold "theme" weeks where you might be able to catch numerous spaghetti westerns, Woody Allen flicks, etc. They have a quaint, efficient snack bar offering wine!... More

Went to see Moonrise Kingdom on a Thursday night and place was packed! Great location- I think you get a deal on parking if you buy tickets online or at least people next to us did. Have great variety of films. Will be back!

Living in the Nashville area my wife and I visit this place often. Its located in Hillsboro Village which is worth a visit itself. The Belcourt is a great theater with great history. They run classic, independent, and foreign films along with musical performances. If you enjoy neighborhood theaters then you must give Belcourt a visit.

The Belcourt rocks especially when Adrian Belew and his kickass band plays. The Belcourt is a comfortable theater. It is clean. The staff is super friendly.I have only two complaints: 1)There is a $3.00 per ticket parking charge to park at the Belcourt. The lot never,I repeat, never has an open spot. There are approximately one parking place for every six hundred ticket buyers. This is just...
