A nice place to get away from typical city living! Early spring and fall, once the kiddos have gone back to school, make for great uncrowded beach time on Presque Isle. The beaches are a bit crowded and littered during peak summer hours. Last tim I visited was a warm April day and the beach was practically ours all day.... More

We visited Lake Erie on our way home from Niagra Falls. It's such a beautiful place. It was very clean and peaceful. We enjoyed visiting the lighthouse and going to the top of it. The beaches are nice. We had a wonderful time.

The water felt wonderful and the lifeguards were good at keeping an eye on the people within the marked play area in the water. The place was quite clean overall, and if you ask me, a great place to make new friends! We had an excellent time!

As a child my family spent nearly every weekend at Pymatuning. My dad and my uncles would come to Erie during the day while us kids fished or swam in Pymatuning. We were never allowed to come to Erie with dad because we were to small. Coming here now....it's amazing. The views...wildlife...just everything. My dog loves going to the marina... More
