East Harbor State Park is a very clean park with many things to explore. Stayed in the yurt, which was very nice for primitive camping. The space in the yurt is ideal for two campers when one person is in a wheelchair. Nice deck and wide ramp surrounds yurt. Unfortunately, no restroom in yurt. Restrooms with extremely narrow doorways and... More

My husband and I have camped here a few times and we will keep coming back! We tent camp in the A loop and love to ride our bikes to the beach and around the camp grounds. It's such a peaceful place to camp. The bathrooms are pretty decent and the showers are really nice. It's also conveniently located if... More

Been here twice, once tent camping, the other with the camper.. June was tough with the mayflies and late July was hot, but we ended up on a site with no trees . My fault. The campsite is big. Haven't even seen the pet friendly side. Very kid friendly. Lots of room for bike riding. There was a movie night... More

Nice beaches, lots of trails to hike. A quiet backwater and Lake Erie crashing on the rocks. Bring walking shoes and your swimsuit.

Having camped here as a kid, teen, with my children and now as a senior, this has got to be my favorite. Pet friendly camping was packed but quiet and people were courteous. My favorite trip was with my kids in the non-pet area when we watched a raccoon opening freezer chests and helping himself to fish, then in the... More

I was little sceptical about this place from some of the reviews. But glad I checked it out myself. We had an amazing day. The weather was perfect, beach was quite, loads of parking and super clean restrooms. We did go on a thursday, so can't comment on the weekend crowds. But I can imagine, this place can quickly turn... More

We were on our way to Lake Michigan and wanted to stop at Lake Erie. The campground had spacious sites and good amenities for our pop-up camper. It was convenient to shopping areas for stocking up on supplies. We spent a day at the lake there which we were disappointed with the beach and the lake for swimming. The beach... More
