I've never been to a lake, but this is best beach I've been to! Now I don't know if it's because there was a event going on with food truck vendors, valley ball, stand up paddle boarding, classic car show & more but I had fun. Only thing is it's a very long walk.

Wow. Lake Erie is beautiful. Watching the sunset over the waters was breathtaking. And the vastness of the waters just makes me think of what an amazing thing it is that God created the vast waters and yet paid attention to the smallest details of every atom and cell. Lake Erie shores in Vermillion, Ohio were also a great place... More

Great seashore with sandy beaches, scenic bluffs and at times, waves for surfing. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, historic towns and villages while you soak in it's maritime heritage. Cedar Point is one of the top amusement parks in the nation.

its a great place near to pittsburgh. you can drive down to lake erie, spend all day and can be back in the evening. it is the nearest sea shore near pittsburgh. though it is a lake, it is so huge that you will not realize that it is a lake. it just looks like sea beach.

We had a nice vacation on Lake Erie. We stayed at Geneva on the Lake. Nice cottage. Nice town. Would go there again.

During the summer of 2011, my family decided to visit the community of Lakeside, Ohio. Situated on the southern coast of Lake Erie, this small village is ideal for a weeklong getaway. The accommodations, available activities, and general location all contribute to an excellent vacationing spot for people of all ages. During our stay, we lived in a small rental... More
