This section of the Colorado River between Lake Mohave (Davis Dam) and Lake Havasu has something for everyone. I personally have walked the river walk, serene and relaxing. I kayak upriver and down river for exercise weekly. This is some of the clearest waters you will ever boat and/or swim. Don't let its beauty fool you though, it runs a... More

Flowing serenely between Laughlin and Bullhead City, the Colorado doesn't look like the force that carved the Grand Canyon. Davis Dam keeps it all under control. The river walk in Laughlin is very relaxing and catching the sunrise over the river is inspiring.

I always like staying at the Riverside Casino and being in a room facing the east. Looking out at sunrise in the sky and down at the river So Peaceful! Wish I was there now.

River was crystal clear, major current, fun watching ducks. River taxis are efficient and fast. River walk along the river gives up close, personal experience.

We stay in the Laughlin area.Recently we`ve discovered the newest "trail" it is the new bridge which is a great walking trail goes to Davis Dam--great way to get exercise and delight in the desert flowers and learn a little history too. There is no swimming in the Co. river here though-as it never gets above 58*BRRRR

Love to walk along the river when the weather permits. We were married on a river boat 9 years ago, Unfortunately there was no water inthe river that day so we were married on a boat stuck in the mud. Captian of the boat walked me down the plank to board the boat. Not as romantic as we had hoped... More

The water is clear, you can see the bottom and the fish. The river is beautiful scenery to enjoy while staying and playing in Laughlin.

We took the water taxi back and forth between hotels. Reasonably priced and great customer service. The only unfortunate thing was that the last one travelled at 9:00 pm. It would have been nicer if it ran a later so that we didn't have to pay for a taxi (which was more expensive) to get back to your hotel.

There was quite of bit of current not really a lot of places for public swimming ( Harrah's had a small beach on the Laughlin side) we rode the water taxi and water looked crystal clear.
