Best National Park yet!

Cant wait to go back and explore some more. Some of the best hikes I have ever been on. Pack snacks and a lunch. You are going to need it! The sights cant be beat!

We had very bad weather for days and were stuck in the close town of Whitefish. When we first tried to tackle the going-to-the-sun road we ended up at the pass with fog and saw about 5m. We tried again next day and it paid off that we were that patient - the road and also the Logan's pass and... More

I am a Montana native and I have been to Glacier Park many, many times. I have also taken many people through the park for their first impressions of the United States. I had a friend from Sweden break down and cry due to the stunning beauty. If you don't believe in God before you go, you will by the... More

We are fortunate in being able to travel off season. Going-To-The-Sun road wasn't entirely open. After driving as much of it as was available, and taking pictures like mad by the lake and lodge,we decided to go to the other end of the park to Many Glaciers. WOW! fabulous views and even less overwhelmed with visitors. Much wilder scenery. Another... More

I'm sure the park is beautiful but we only got as far as the Avalanche campsite and then the road was closed. Entering from the east side later today so hope to see more spectacular views but what we saw today was just pretty, not stunning.

Glacier National Park is something you have to see to understand its immense beauty. Each year I return and each year I am blown away. For me it is a spiritual experience. The pictures do little justice and trying to describe it is futile. This year I had the good fortune of bring two cousins, and as expected they too... More

Although there are a lot of narrow roads it was absolutely gorgeous and there were lots of picture taking opportunities. We enjoyed making a loop through the park and will definitely return to this park. We were able to see lots of wildlife and get wonderful pictures. The only negative thing that we encountered was that at the Logan's Pass... More

I don't love this park. I've heard it talked up and was expecting it to be amazing, but it really wasn't. I went to the Two Medicine Area but that wasn't any better. Parts I enjoyed: Photographing sunset on Lake McDonald, the views had from hiking a short ways up the hill from the large parking area at the loop... More

Visited Glacier on a Sunday afternoon in early March and while Going to the Sun Road was closed after about 10 miles in, the scenic drive alongside Lake McDonald was enough to make me know this was a once in a lifetime experience that I would never forget. There are pullovers and you can walk down to the water which... More
