Must be on anyone's bucket list! There are hiking trails for any ability, including handicap access. They also have a hiker patch for kids who can tell them which pass they went on, some less than a mile in length. Also an activity booklet to pick up at ranger stations to get Jr Ranger badge. Rapidly disappearing glacier fields, need... More

This is probably the most beautiful and breathtaking place I have ever seen.I cannot even put into words how beautiful this park is. We went on a 12 day road trip across the county, and this was the highlight of the trip. We only stayed two nights and had about a day and half to see the park, but I... More

we spent 2 days in the park, I highly recommend the red bus tours. there was 8 of us in our party. Russ on bus 84 was our tour guide. very interesting narratives of things through out the park. great story teller too. we had lunch at St. Mary's lodge. food was great. we went a little over our hour... Here you get the benefit of the Rocky Mountain experience without having to ascend to 12,000 feet or more. That's because Glacier is further north - and you can find snow in July at only 8,000 feet. The difference is huge: at 12,000 feet or more it gets hard to breathe. And driving in the Colorado Rockies is often a... More

We went there to make sure to see this beautiful park before global warming melts all the glaciers, it did not disappoint, pristine lakes, majestic mountains and spectacular glaciers, we even saw bears! I would recommend it to anyone who loves nature.

One of the top 5 drives in the US is Going to the Sun Road in Glacier. No where in the Alps do large lakes mingle within and between the mountains. The nearest European competitor is the Norwegian Fjords. Glacier has it all. Beyond scenic grandeur, wildlife is abundant, wildflowers profuse, waterfalls plentiful. Near guarantees to see are mountain goats... More

So far one of my favorite National Parks. Going to the Sun road is incredible. We drove it multiple times, each taking turns so we could both enjoy the view. Highline hike was closed so that was a bummer. But understandable due to ice and snow in the middle of July! We will be back!

We took a two hour ride thru Glacier with the Lake MacDonald corral and had a blast. The horses were clearly well cared for and the wranglers were fun, helpful and informative. We didn't see any wildlife but the scenery from horseback was fantastic.

My family and I took a 5 day trip to Glacier Park last week. It was planned over the course of a year, and I think we have a lot of insights into lodging, transportation, and park attractions. AMTRAK We arrived on the Empire Builder, going westbound from Chicago. Highly recommended, the views were amazing. While we booked sleeper cars... More
