We wished we had more time to spend in Glacier. The hikes are great and going to Logan's Pass was the highlight. We didn't have time to hike there, but really want to return. We met friendly people and enjoyed seeing the river, waterfalls and just being in the forest. We did get to see deer, a black bear and... More

We absolutely loved our trip to Glacier. We loved the views and the drives around the park as well as the gorgeous water and fun beaches. The water was cold but our kids didn't seem to mind! We also rented a boat and had beyond stellar service from the staff!

Spectacular views. The "Going to the Sun" highway was closed on the east 1/2 because of the fire - but that didn't take anything away from the spectacular beauty of this National Treasure. Don't miss it!

We traveled to 11 National parks this summer. Glacier was fantastic- especially our stay at the Sperry Chalet and our hike out to the Sperry Glacier.

So many gorgeous trails, from easy to strenuous. Lots of waterfalls and wildlife to be seen. Wonderful old lodges to explore or dine at. Parking is a problem if you are driving your own car, but there is a free shuttle service that travels the Going-To-The-Sun Road which runs from East to West Glacier through the park. We had to... Of all the national parks I have visited this is one of the best. In fact the only park I have enjoyed more was Denali up in Alaska. Camp sites do not have dishwashing facilities so you will need to bring a bucket to wash dishes in if you are camping here. The trail at Logan's pass and Iceberg Lake... More

Breathtaking views. Well paved roads and plenty of areas to pull over and take pictures! Lake McDonald is truly beautiful! The water color is so unique. Go early in the day to avoid the crowds and during the week.

The park is truly amazing. All of the views are truly gorgeous. The roads are well paved, plenty of bathroom stops and places to pull over for pictures. But I would recommend going during the week as the weekends get very busy and can take away from the experience.

This was hands down one of the most beautiful sites I've been to in my life. We only spent a half-day driving on the Going-to-the-sun road, but it was worth every penny. You have to double check with the park on whether or not this road will be open, as it is under snow cover until June or so, and... More
