My husband and I spend at least one to two weekends a month in the Ozarks. We love it! We enjoy the scenery, the restaurants, the cleanliness of the lake, the shopping, and the beautiful boats on the water. The only downfall is that over the past 10-15 years, the boats have gotten so big that it makes the Lake... More

Our crew had the BEST time in Lake of the Ozarks, MO! We were impressed by the variety of activities offered including the Bridal Caves, Ha Ha Tonka State Park, wakeboarding, and fishing. We started our trip with a small airplane ride provided by Airlake Aviation over the lake which provided an incredible perspective of the area. We enjoyed most... More

The weekend after Labor day we planned a trip to lake Ozark. I spoke directly to the owner of Adventure Boat Rentals in advance. I needed help with the best places to stay and he was very knowledgeable. On the day we arrived to pick up the boat, Bill took us out into the cove and showed us all that... More

Lake of ozarks is one such place to get away.so much to do. We went there on labor day weekend, and did parasailing and jet skiing. we had only half a day to spend there and we headed to Branson. It was our first experience doing parasailing and jetski . Very good place. we reached there around 10am which was... More

There are so many places to go on this lake, it's impossible to hit them all in a weekend! That's why it keeps everyone coming back for more. The water could be much cleaner, yes, but the lake is so developed residentially and commercially, it will just remain the same. The Lake of the Ozarks is all about having fun!

The Lake of the Ozarks is a surprise to many with 91 miles of main channel water way and over 1100 miles of shoreline - more shoreline than the state of CA. It is an amazing vacation spot with great food and warm water - and reasonable prices. a top spot in the midwest and well worth a trip form... More

We normally stay on the other side of the lake but decieded to go to the park area for waterboarding. The water was much calmer on this side. Fantastic time!

First things first. If you can’t stay at a place directly on the water and/or have access to a boat, you will miss the real fun and beauty of this area. It gets hot here (up to 100 degrees with humidity) in the summer and you’ll want to take a dip daily. Plus, despite the backwoods feel of the area,... More

We went for 4th of July weekend and had a blast. The lake is huge and has everything. Tons of shopping, restaurants, boating, parasailing, and sight seeing. They had fireworks everywhere. We are definitely going to go back this fall.
