Beautiful water and great food by the lake! Of course don't drink and swim and you will be fine ! Boat rides are fun! The boardwalk is a bit deserted but there is also a brand new movie theater a few miles away !

2014 and again in 2015, 8 out of 8 people in our group became ill during our summer trips to the Lake of the Ozarks. The DNR tests for EColi around the beaches, but does not report it until the season is about over. I wonder why? Very disturbing! By the way, we were 7 miles away from any public... More

Lake of the Ozarks is great for fantastic scenary and relaxing venues. We travelled off peak, but it was still a good time and we pretty much had the lake to ourselves! Don't be fooled by the colder temps in October, the lake is still 70-75 degrees (same as the Caribbean in the winter.) We did have some issues with... More

Easily on of my favorite lakes to visit during the summer months. It is a huge lake with a lot of different little coves to go in and out of. Party Cove can get VERY crazy as well. Also many different lake side restaurant and bars to try with amazing night life. The water can get a little rough if... More

I went there twice, and I would say it's a okay place. There are good water sports activity and the prices are well, not very cheap but quite okay. We loved parasailing and jet skiing there. I am not a fan of sun so hated it as it was so hot. I would recommend to go there with lots of... More

I must admit, I went to the Lake of the Ozarks often as a kid (70's-80's) but moved away from Missouri and heard all kinds of horror stories when I returned...too crowded, too many crazy party people, too many huge boats, too expensive etc. My first few trips were surprisingly positive. Do those problems exist...probably on occasion. But I have... More

The lake has a large variety of great places to venture out to. Some you can have a minnow shot others have excellent food.... More
