A piece of Heaven on Earth. Clean big warm sandy beach. Very shallow water on a calm day. We went to Caseville so we don't know about the rest of the Lake but this place was fantastic. Also a fishing harbor if you like

what a great little museum that has been maintained well and has a great tour guide. the 'ghosts' even visited us while we were there - setting off the alarm that wasn't set! good information, great views, cute articles in the gift shop.

We took I-69 and stopped at the Michigan Welcome Center at 11:55 Am, collecting all kinds of literature, mostly for the Lake Huron upper northeast shoreline... More

We were invited up to a friend's family cottage on the shores of Lake Huron this past June 2009. While the weather didn't cooperate as we would have liked, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery, sounds and breezes that come from the Lake. It was a little of the beaten path from Caseville, MI which has some more interesting night life... More
