The upper Iowa had some very severe flooding this spring (2008)and the was alot of concern about how mother nature was going to leave it. The river has been widen out in some area. Our trip was on 09/03/08. We put our Kayaks in at Kendelville and went just passed Bluffton. Put in at Kendelville is a nice park area... more

Talk about Beautiful! More picture perfect scenery than a Kodak catalog!! The river was quiet and relaxing. The canoe trip was probably the most fun I have had in a decade.
