Large and beautiful. I always wanted to visit and I am happy I was able this year. You must add the Great Lakes to your bucket list.

#1Plentiful Drinking Water, sailing, speed boating, skiing, swimming etc at my doorstep. Observing the Lake Michigan from my home is a calming watching the weather changing effects.

It was rather cold during my time in Illinois, but people still found it to be an excellent occasion to go for a swim.

The lake is huge and gigantic. We can see many boats and crafts at one of side. The lake which as waves like beach. wow. different experience. The lake-shore is full of attraction from museums to aquarium to parks to navy pier. We can see many people on side of lake, taking pictures, drawing the pictures. It's an awesome view... More

Most people see Lake Michigan as they drive around the edge. Whether in Chicago on North Lake Shore Drive, or on South Lake Shore drive, or along streets like Sheridan Rd., as you go further north from the city limits. There are a lot of beaches along Chicago's Lakefront and some are certainly nicer than others. I always liked Oak... More

Since I see the lake almost every day, I'm amazed at how it never stays the same. The clouds, the waves, the mood of the body of water changes frequently. If you enjoy being beside water, then you'll be very satisfied.

Had one dinner booked on an amazing boat. Even if it was raining, the views are spectacular. The city opens up as you space out of it. Amazing city lights and beautifully distributed buildings. The tour took two hours and it was excellent. Make sure to spend some time on top deck of the boat, the views are breathtaking.

What can you say...It is hard to believe that Lakes can be this big. An amazing sight to behold. Really, there are oceans that aren't this big. I loved seeing the ships, yachts, and the boats.
