My family and I did a whitewater river trip with Middle Fork River Tours in July of 2011, and I cannot say enough about the company, the geographic location and the feelings it gave each of us. The river guides were extremely knowledgeable, the meals were unbelievable, the river was both exciting and serene, and - best of all -... More

For anyone interested in a once in a life time trip, the week long river trip we did with James and Co down the Middle Fork was one of the most remarkable weeks of my life. I've traveled the world, and I've been on many different river trips, so I'd consider myself a fairly credible source. James and his team... More

In July of 2010 we put together a group of friends for the 6 day rafting trip on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, and luckily we had MFRE and James Ellsworth as our guides. That trip was so successful that, the following July, WE BOOKED THE SAME TRIP AGAIN! With MFRE, there was not one detail that was... More

Middle Fork River Expeditions provided a fabulous rafting experience. The guides are superb, the scenery and wildlife are incredible, and most of all it's a really fun way to experience wilderness. The rapids, waterfalls, campfire talks, great food and excellent company make it a really special trip. More

My family and I just completed a 6 day/5 night trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River with Middle Fork Wilderness Outfitters (MFWO). It was really fantastic! We had a great group of 12 people (in four groups). Our family of three had never met any of the others. We found them all to be great company, nice... More

You could not find a nicer more professional group than Clint and Molly Frank of Middle Fork River Tours. Clint's knowledge of the river and the surrounding area was terrific. His love for what he does was apparent. The food was fantastic. They even provided beer/wine and mixed drinks with the price of the trip. Most others charge extra or... More

Rafting the Middle Fork of the Salmon River with Middle Fork River Expeditions is a great experience. Wonderful scenery, fun white water and excellent guides. The natural beauty and pristine condition of the wilnerness area is amazing. No roads cross the rive for over 100 miles, so you really get a chance to get in touch with nature. We went... More
