We enjoyed a great week on the Middle Fork with Canyons Inc. The scenery and wildlife was breathtaking. Canyons Inc were incredible. A trip like this is the best way to reset life, getting away form cities, screens and technology.

This was a 6 day raft trip with OARS that was oriented to fishing even tho only 2 (of the 6) clients fished. Amazing scenery. Solitude is unrivaled. The biggest surprise was the guides. Friendly and truly great cooks. I think I gained 10 lbs on the trip.

As an Idaho Boy, I floated this every morning spring during high water. It was an amazing adventure as a kid!

I have been rafting with Canyons on 6 trips down both the Main and Middle Fork. It was a spectacular experience- from the food to the sights to the rapids, hiking and special bonds I had/have with the guides and guests. My kids who are in their late teens/early twenties still rave about how fun the experience was. From the... More

What a memorable trip! The guides were seasoned and professional: great cooks, geology experts, fantastic musicians, cool headed medics, charming storytellers and infinitely patient child wranglers. As many of us parents took the opportunity to enjoy the thrills of the river on kayaks, many a guide found him/herself captive to a non-stop tween gabfest. Their cheerful demeanor and just plain... This September my husband and I made the 5 day rafting trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River with Rocky Mountain River Tours. This was an amazing trip and incredibly organized from pre-trip to take out. The guides were well trained, safety conscious and knowledgable about the river. We have never been on an outdoor camping/rafting expedition before... More

My wife, daughter and I recently enjoyed a wonderful five-day rafting adventure on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, passing through many rapids, spectacular canyons, and unspoiled wilderness valleys, courtesy of Middle Fork River Expeditions ("MFRE"), of Stanley, Idaho. Our guides were warm and friendly professionals; the rafts, kayaks, and camping gear were in fine condition; and the food... More

This was a new adventure for me in that I'd never been on an extended river trip (this was a 5 day trip)...only day trips. From the moment I signed up the communication, follow-up, materials, preparation, pre-launch meeting and rule explanation, safety rules, guides, food, provisions, activities, and landing/return was above my expectations.

The fishing trip in September is awesome. Fewer people on the river, smaller group, and great fishing. The guides know the river and where the fish are. Strongly recommend hitting the side streams for fishing that is off the charts!

ROW adventures provided my wife and I with six days of excellence. I am an experienced kayaker, and I thought this might not be great since the water was "low." The rapids were great. My wife enjoyed them on the big raft while I used the Duckie. The fishing was great, food was exceptional, guides were wonderful and the terrain... More
