When we sit and ponder where we want to go on vacation each year-- we agree on Anna Maria Island. It has everything we need for a great vacation. The most beautiful beach and sand. Perfect accommodation choices. Free trolley around the island. Great shopping and dining. For a relaxing vacation, this is our only choice! More

great place to visit though when staying here, look for a place off the main drag at spring break, it is a very busy road. Awesome beaches! More

We're newbee snowbirds and thought we'd try something new,,,We left our car at Bradenton Beach for FREE!! and hopped aboard the FREE (air-conditioned) trolly that runs back and forth all day until sunset... We ate at the Anna Marie Pier Restaurant and listened to some wonderful street music and watched fishermen try their skills at landing the "big" one.. The... More

I just spent a week on Anna Maria Island. It was wonderful-----no high rise condos and no fast food restaurants. The weather was beautiful. We sat on the beach, read, rode bicycles, ate at great restaurants, and shopped at the neat shops. Very low key and relaxing. More

Two years ago my family made vacation in Anna Maria Island. The beauty, simplicity and back to basics feel of this lovely island changed something in my soul forever. This summer we vacationed in Florida once again, but not in Anna Maria Island. Before leaving we all agreed we just had to drive the 1 1/2 hours to Anna Maria... More

We spent a week at Anna Maria Island w/ our two kids. We rented a 2 bedroom beach house through Anna Maria Accomodations named "Turtle Trax." It was located on the quiet north end of the island. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful vacation, definitely stay on the north end of the island. The other areas of the island... More

I joined my family on anna maria island where they were renting a house right by the sea. We didnt feel that we needed to do anything much to make the holiday wonderful. Friendly people, snow birders and fellow holiday makers, If you do not want the hassle of a large holiday resort, I found this absolutely great.. There were... More
