this little area has beautiful white sand, pier for fishing, little boutiques...for us it was like a bit of St. Armands Circle & Lido Beach; but MUCH less traffic & the site seeing public. Very very beautiful. Eating at Anna Maria Oyster Bar finishes out the day great too.

This little island is wonderful. The water on all sides is warm, the sand is fine and white, and the sunsets are amazing! If you are looking for a place to relax, eat great food, and enjoy being with your friends and family this is the place!

Had a holiday here this aug. So laid back and relaxed . Also lots to do. Water sports, stunning beaches and sunsets, great condos . My sons loved the fishing off the piers. The weather was great, the people very nice and a part of the world I never knew about. I always thought florida was all about disney and... More

Deep, white sand beaches, ample life guard houses. Down towards coquina beach you can walk out almost 100 yards before you loose sand. Today's visitor..... A manatee cruising in the water....

Stayed 1 week with my family in July. What a fantastic place! It was more like being in the Caribbean. Calm, beautiful and peaceful. Wonderful beach and water. Nice little restaurants. Would highly recommend!

What a gorgeous, uncrowded beach! My husband and I rented a house during the Fourth of July holiday this summer. We were blown away by the clean beaches, small crowds, and friendly people. We only stayed three nights, so we kept close to our rental which was within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Next time, we are looking... More

We had a day out from the Orlando parks and drove to Anna Maria Island, it's less than 2 hours away, where we found lovely white Sandy beaches and a place that reminds us of the carribbean. We stopped at Manatee beach which is a public beach with a car park. The facilities there were good, toilets, showers, changing room,... More

This was a day trip for my family this summer. I don't think I could handle more than a day here as it was a long slow drive into the town. The beaches were clean as many people fished, swam, or just hung out. The water was crystal clear and beautiful! The town was nice but as I said there... More

One of the most beautiful places ever. Quiet and relaxing place to go. Had ice cream at Two Scoops near the fabulous pier there. Coconut and Salty Caramel, best ice cream I ever tasted.
