I revisited Maroon Lake to experience again the scenic beauty and the excitement of climbing three of the most photographed mountains in the U.S. Pyramid Peak and the Maroon Bells huddle around Maroon Lake like old friends around a campfire. Any visit to the Aspen area must include a visit to the Maroon Bells. We snow mobiled in years ago in the Winter which was awesome. This summer we returned and it was so simple. Just take the bus from Rubey Park Transit Station (free) in downtown Aspen to Aspen Highlands where you transfer to the Maroon Bells Bus (fee)....
