Driving through the Avenue of the Giants is a wonderful experience. This is "gods country" and makes us realize just how small we are. It is nice to drive a bit and then get out of the car and walk around and look up at the huge trees. This is good for the soul and I loved it!

A definite must while traveling hwy.101. It is a 36 mile trail that leads back to the main highway. The trees were absolutely breathtaking.

Absolutely beautiful and awe inspiring place! It's a must see in ones lifetime. The trees are incredible and pictures just don't do them justice. They are monstrous.

The sites are amazing. If you are a Star Wars fan it's like being on Endor. It's not very crowded. It's impossible to explain how tall the trees are. Think a football field long. And then more.

If you're ever in Northern California in the Eureka area take a slow ride thru the giant sequoias. These incredible trees are breathtaking. I remember calling my wife at home in the East and telling her how grateful I was to God for giving me the gift of vision.

This has to be one oth the wonders of our land. To see these giants and walk among them was one of the biggest thrills of our trip. Worth the drive, every moment of it.

Take your time and drive through here. Do not be in a rush or you will get frustrated. Pull over often and shoot tons of photos - this is the real deal! We went in March, mid-week, no one but us on the road, so taking pictured and exploring was easy and fun.

Realizing that these stately Redwood Sequoias are taller than any other living thing is amazing enough but to stretch your neck back far enough to see the tops is to realize that these 400 to 600 year old treasures need to be protected for our children’s children to enjoy. I am grateful for the generous men and women who donated... More

Driving on the avenue of giants was a very interesting event. It is amazing to see how large the trees have grown. The road cuts right through the forest. You drive past trees just inches away from the roadway. Very nice experiance to see and enjoy the fresh forest air!

This is still something to check out! A lot of the Auto tour has you stopping and hiking a little bit (dogs are not allowed on trails) so my fiancée and I just stopped at a few and stretched our legs. The map is a little off but it doesn't take much to figure it out. Some of the stop... More
