I've been doing this drive at least a couple of times a year (and, of course, more frequently when we lived near the PV Peninsula) since the late 1950s/early 1960s. It's always been spectacular! The best way to enjoy the Palos Verdes area is by car and by hiking or biking along the coast. There are several places to pull over and enjoy the view, amazing cliffs overlooking the Pacific.
