Whenever you travel there you will see people with cameras and good walking shoes. You can stop at several places and take breath-taking photos. It's only 30 miles south west of LA and a must see if you visit that area. A memory forever!

An easy drive with plenty of places to stop and take pictures. Some of the areas are grassy and fenced in so the kids can run around. If you're in the area you have to drive through!

Stop by Pelican Cove .take the well maintained but steep path to the rocks below: Whales pass close by this point on their migration from Alaska to Mexico in winter. Free parking with bathrooms

Best place to be live from childhood to adult. Rancho Palos Verdes is a Peninsula. Horse area. Homes with 360 degree view of the world. I woke up to see views above the clouds. Thanks MoM & Dad!

We started in San Pedro and drove actually all the way through to Malibu Beach. The Palos Verdes Scenic Drive was out favorite by far. We enjoyed the drive, the views were amazing. It was tranquil and we stopped at our leisure. Went to the lighthouse which we could not come close to but we parked and found the area... More

On May 05, and May 08, my husband and I visited 4 of the (5?) cities on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. I have a cousin that lives in Palos Verdes Estates and I must say though California has its high taxes, mudslides, wildfires, earthquakes and the Andreas fault, but if I had a chance to live in either Palos Verdes... We drove north to south, starting from Orange County, and stopped at several locations using the wikitravel guide... Malaga Cove Plaza - Almost all closed on a Sunday morning. The fountain is nice but you could also skip it. Neighborhood Church - Nice coastal views. Didn't walk around the grounds but there are several low-profile mission-style buildings. The houses in...
